        Packaging isn't neccessarily the indicator, since in the US they were bundling older models with (different) red packaging for the Mario Kart Bundle.

        JBHifi sku numbers confirm it's the 2019 model, but the best indicator on the Amazon page seems to be "Longer Battery Life"… I think?

        Edit: If you go to the unbundled 2019 model, it links you to the bundled one as a "newer version". Also has the same blurb about battery life in the description.

      It's ok I am using old switch x2 with venom 10k mah battery pack.

      We are not missing anything…just get battery extender if needed the extra boost.

        Just got back from JB and they REFUSED to do it saying they got email from management and won't match amazon.

        Very disappointed. Think about a refund and won't do it there next for similar offers.

            The JB Hifi bundle is is apparently confirmed to be the 2019 model, because they're just giving a code away with the 2019 model. If Amazon.com.au has the same bundle as Amazon.com, then it might be the older model.

    Just got one! Been waiting for it to drop a bit but haven't had an urgency to get one! Used Zip and Shopback. Does anyone know how long Shopback takes to work? Never used them before, always been with CR and they're pretty quick or at least email you quickly.

    Also how long does it take to go into Zip? Want to pay it off straight away so I can forget about it lol

    No idea why I just made a zip account and went through ShopBack for cashback, but I did.

    Ie. Made myself have credit for the first time to get a bargain off ozbargain.

    Hope the zip fees don't destroy the deal… Anyone done the math??

      The Zip fees only apply after two months so you can just schedule one payment for the full price and not pay any fees. The late fee is $6, which would still be far lower than the $35 that you save
