Who has actually bought from Qantas Store since that Sony WF-1000XM3 a few months ago?

I know I’ll never buy from them ever again.

    • +1

errr why what happened? dont think its a good enough reason to neg without explaination

      • +1

They put up WF-1000XM3, and it stacked with 10% off generic staff/family code, then they mass-cancelled a bunch of orders.

        • +2

it was a staff code :( and even my order was cancelled. After jumping lots of hoops - it turns out they were out of stock until Jan 2020 anyway. Convinced we would get a better deal before then, I left the order cancelled.

Jokes on me eh, no deals on the earphones since. :(

    • +1

      preach!

    • +1

Not sure about your grief! But have done over 10 transactions and never had an issue at all, Infact have found them to be far better then some major retailers I have bought from.

  • +1

Everything I want is in the exclusion list.
    sigh

  • This actually looks like it could be exceptional for some things unless I am mistaken…

    • Exceptionally lame

  • Qantas store Site got ozbargained already? Unable to load anything.

  • +5

they really should not be allowed to use the term "store wide" when there is this many exclusions.

  • how do you actually get 20% off Apple items as advertised? everything is still full price.

  • 20% off airplanes? nice

  • Qantas store plays the game of jacking up price. Tricky

  • -2

…if the iPhones are included and they don't jack the price, it'll be possible to get an iPhone 11 pro 256gb for $1590 + 2000 points!
That's a pretty good deal, and one that I'd be jumping on if it wasn't for the fact that I want to purchase using my Amex Essential card, to get the free screen insurance.
I called up Amex to ask whether the insurance would be valid with $10 worth of the purchase being made using Qantas FF points, and they told me that the entire amount has to be made in a single transaction of either Amex rewards points and/or card payment.
For people looking to buy an iPhone using a payment other than Amex Essential (for the screen insurance), this could be worth checking out once the sale is live.

    • +1

Not sure that a price of $1590 is correct
It states 'Points Values Only' meaning you pay the lot in points, not 2k points + pay less 20%

      • Aha! A closer read, and I agree - I was in fantasy land with that one. Points values only means I was totally wrong.

        • hehehe.. woulda been a good price if it was 20% with payment though!

  • I do wonder how it can be storewide if exclusions apply?

  • Anyone see if the discount is working yet?

  • Is this working for anyone? I can't see the so called "blue flag".
I have items in my cart and I don't think the 20% has been applied even after I hit CHECKOUT.

    • Not working for me either yet - there's a new banner at the top of the page, but still no discounts @ 12:12am

      • Same for me…

        • just tried with a different browser and it still doesn't work all the way through Checkout (before I hit Confirm). No discount applied…

          • +2

@OMG Bargain: I'm waiting until 1am AEDT (east coast, daylight saving time) in case their servers are messed up, and only setup to trigger for AEST (east coast, standard time)

            • @ryanhunt: Yep you were right, deal is live now :)

            • @ryanhunt: I am incredibly confused by the totals they are coming up with once the discount is applied!

              • -2

@MrFizz: SUCCESS! Got an iPad Mini 64gb for 83,344 points :D

                • @ryanhunt: when you go points + cash the discount doesn't translate, unfortunately. But if paying with only points it seems great!

                  And congrats!

                • -1

@ryanhunt: Nice one! Mine worked too! Just got myself the Airpods Pro :)

                  • @OMG Bargain: Did any of you have success with points + cash or only with points?

  • Anyone having issue adding a credit card?

  • I actually just bought the Jabra Elite 75t's like 2 days ago, they still haven't been delivered. Think I can cancel and reorder them at 20% off?

  • So the 20% off works some something like these but not correctly for iPhone or Bose stuff… Odd.

  • Thanks OP, have a ton of QFF points to use

  • I keep getting the error after clicking check out

    “Oops, something went wrong“

For iPad Pro or AirPod Pro I am trying to purchase since this morning 1am and till now (8am)

    • +1

Working for me on my phone

Able to get past checkout screen, haven't clicked confirm on the next page as that would place the order.

      • Thanks for testing

        sad face

I have sent an online inquiries to them to see if anything wrong with my account

I have tried different devices / computers / browsers but seems nothing related except my account being the common denominator:(

    • Just got AirPods pro

  • Good for op to post this deal.
For majority item, it worked, for the rest, not so much (see below)

    (Qantas used a sneaky tactic!)

Some items have been removed from the store, when it was available the day before, or 2 mins prior if you like (I checked midnight)

Some items were excluded / not discounted if it says points cashback (ie: 5,000 points cashback when purchased)
