Damn it, there goes this deal for loners like me who dine alone…

      • then get snapping finding someone else who needs a partner. Who knows, maybe you may find the love of your life ;)

that's impossible when you're using coupons on dates

      • Are you fat? The servings you get at these restaurants it's recommended you use 2 coupons.

        • one coupon per person :(

Just curious, why'd you neg this deal?

People need to stop whinging. The food looks delicious.. if you can't find someone else to take then you really do need to get out more.

You need to wake up. $29 for a jap set menu isnt cheap.
if you want to compare jap food, theres an awesome place at level 3, market city, called Takumi which is a sushi train, for people with a parking ticket or student ID its $2.50 a plate (raw, fried, grilled scallops all included)

      The food looks delicious

Like the dodgy 'at least 2 coupons' condition, never judge by looks. In the picture, theres three fully loaded dishes of sashimi and sushi.
It doesnt show anything else (thats supposed to be included). Getting someone to come isn't a problem, telling them its $29 for a set menu that doesnt tell you how big the meal will be, is.
It's a blind gamble with $29 that could leave 2 or more people impressed or feeling extremely gipped.
if you want to shout someone (date), you're going to look like a cheapass with coupons and it'll be a $58 gamble for lunch/dinner

  • Neg. because of all the bad reviews and especially because of all the fake positive reviews on Eatability

To clarify, I am neging because crap food is not a bargain at any price.

    • how do you know theres fake pos reviews on eatability?

  • i think this is the 2nd time foodmorning has deal with no so good review restaurant.

I've been there twice w/ mates, and there isn't anything special about this place. Never again. Trust me there are plenty of other better Japanese restaurants in Syd.
