Dyson have their black friday sale up and running, and there is a long queue to get onto the site. The black Friday deal on the V8 is the better of the lot, but they also have V6 animal for $349. Worth while if you're after one.

Animal is on sale at myer for $497 and $499 thought Dyson at the moment also.
It's $499 everywhere right now, should be able to pick it up for much less using an eBay code at some point over the next few days

Absolute includes the soft roller, Animal doesn't.

Original has the head and 2 other small plastic attachments. The animal comes with a smaller motorised head and some others as well. For $27 difference it is worth it.go eBay myer and use code prince200 and it comes down to 467.

To skip the queue you can just install AdBlock in chrome and manually edit your filters by adding the following-

These prices have been up for about a week (I've been keeping an eye out to see if the V10 Absolute Plus gets restocked), they're not in any way more special with the whole 'queue' business (which is surely just a marketing ploy - I seriously doubt that there are 27,000 people in Australia wanting to access Dyson's specials on the Monday night before Black Friday - but props to Dyson's marketing team for creating the impression of urgency and demand).
I have been looking. $449 is a great price for a V8, haven't seen cheaper than that. Cheapest I have seen the animal is 467 eBay code myer and cheapest for the v7 origin is bigw on black friday for $349.

Same here, has to wait 10 mins, I closed the tab straight away. Was very surprised with their approach, instead of making the site easier to compare between products, they create a block page and steer people away.
Anyone else ever seen a queue like this on a website. Surely it’s losing them sales.
Their marketing & online teams must be a bunch of noobs to even attempt something like a queue for an online website. Just get load balancing to handle the traffic which is what I suppose they were trying to manage.
