    • Oops!

  • Any ideas on the battery life for cleaning the floor tiles throughout the house?

Bunnings Review said it was flat out doing a living room

    This or tenico or shark.thanks

  • any first hand use experience.

    Youtube review doesn't seem promising.

    • Not many out there. The reviews on Bunnings and TGG suggest it leaves quite a bit of water behind

    • Just picked up one yesterday, Seems good for a compact house as otherwise you will run out on battery. Is pretty easy to use and self cleans.

      • Same, for $150 I thought I'd try it out. Initial thoughts first time using:
        - The roller head is comprised of 2 smaller rollers with a gap in the middle, about 25-30mm. There is also about a 7mm gap between the roller head and edge of the cleaning head so you cannot clean hard up against walls and baseboards. Not true edge-to-edge cleaning but for this price I can't complain.
        - Despite having a 4ah battery, it's got quite a short run time, about 20mins. I got to the end and didn't have enough battery to perform the self cleaning cycle, so removed the rollers and cleaned them in the sink. The battery is removable however, which is a plus. A replacement battery alone is $150 from Hoover's website.
        - The dirty water tank has a simple float valve system that will prevent water from being sucked into the motor once the tank is full. I think it's a lot more reliable than the more expensive vacs which use sensors to detect water level.
        - The roller heads are saturated with cleaning solution by pulling the trigger, so you can control how much solution you use over a given area.
        - Only supplied with 1 filter and 1 set of rollers. This model will be discontinued so parts availability may be a problem in the future.

        • Sounds like you get what you pay for. My Roborock lasts ages but was $100 more

  • I have the Roborock Flexi Lite and fairly happy with it. Didn't want to spend too much. Dries the floor well enough. If I hadn't already bought the Roborock I'd try this one out for sure.

  • Can you just use this as a normal vacuum? The other features are a bonus for me. I am still using my trouver from years ago but the battery is on the way out and need something cheap to replace it

    • Answered my own question you can

  • better than a Dyson?

    • Better for your wallet for sure
