Well here we are … The Wii I should have done earlier …

Most of you would be no strangers to checking Dick Smiths Site ofc.
As usual there are Numerous decent deals to be had, many with Free Delivery.

I have to get me a Wii one of these days … Almost any other game besides the Dancing one and I'd seriously consider this combo. MarioKart is Essential.

      Not really, target have the same deal with an extra game for $179.

      edit: target deal is actually just dance 1 not 2.

      That really is a pretty good deal … didn't see it in my search.
      However I don't think that is actually an online deal …
      Can't seem to see anywhere to place an order or anything like that??
      I think you may have to get to an actual shop for these ones.

      Still , good deal if you do live near the shops. :)

        Third that. Sorry rep. I'm working at the electrical department at Myer and we sold the exact same bundle plus 10-20% off a few weeks ago (so that's about $150), yep you do have to go in stores for that, Still- myer delivery fee is $8 and still ends up being a little cheaper.

        Big W also had the EXACT same bundle and were about $185.

        Sorry, i think Wii consoles have gone cheaper.. however it's been said many times, standard price these days.

          Yeh .. The End of financial year deals were much better, I know … And most likely they will all drop to that price or lower by the end of the year I reckon. (Who knows … maybe they Will even drop it to $99 :D they did with their previous consoles pretty early in their life (relative to the other consoles) Hope they do .. Will be a Wii for CHrissy! Yay!) ;) heheheh

          I appreciate your feedback I really do. And I'm aware they have gotten a little cheaper now and that there are a few similar deals around. (Good to hear Myer keeping up too :))
          It's always much better when you can actually get to physical shops.(Pay Cash, Pay less works everywhere ofc never pay full price instore, always haggle ;)).
          I live halfway up the mountains and nowhere near these type of shops, also a recently broken neck and injuries ontop of that makes it hard to take an excursion to the city … so Online delivery is essential for me these days (and Free delivery ofc is a massive bonus) ;) So I guess I sometimes forget that these issues aren't as important to most people as they can easily get to a store somewhere. I will definatly keep this in mind.

          Alrighty then … Apologies for the slightly lengthy posts (Ametuer writer) .. I know it doesn't quite fit the status quo these days to type alot but I just wanted to explain myself clearly. I've done that now.

        Best I've seen for a new console (non-bundled) so far I'm pretty sure. Free delivery too which is always good.
        They have Dance 2 on sale too … but even on Sale it's only $8 cheaper than Dick Smiths Bundle. Nothing really to write home about.
        Dance 2 isn't really my cup-o-tea game-wize either … but a lot of people love that stuff so it has value for them. It's not quite a 'bargain bin' title and It actually has pretty consistently good reviews (7.5ish / 10).
        For Kids and Families (and dance enthusiasts) I'm sure this is quite an attractive deal. :)

        I'd still go the Dick Smiths deal myself though … I'm sure GAME is quite a good shop … but like a good portion of people I'd prefer going through a well-proven, well-known place like DS's over somewhere else that doesn't have the same 'track record' - if price isn't much different. Plus I don't really like the White Wii's even tho they tend to be the cheaper deals … to me the better looking black consoles are worth paying a little extra for. Sooo … just my 2c. Personal preferences ofc. Just wanted to explain my thoughts on the subject. ;) No Worries and thanx again for the input.

    Not that much of a deal…I swear I've seen the basic consoles for $135. I know this comes with extras, I'm not retarded…well…I shouldn't say that. I guess it depends on the person buying whether the games/extras are worth the extra money. Not a plus or neg from me :)

    Even if It's not astoundingly good. Still one of the best at the moment.
    Last I checked, about ~10 days ago or so the best I found was the standard Console-MarioKart-Wheel Bundle for $198 I think it was. Good deal. Been like that for a while since the last price drop I know.
    Another Game bundled in and a further ~$10 off just makes it that little bit better again. :) I don't really see justification for negativity.

    To be fair .. there was no current listings here for Nintendo Wii deals since the Financial Year Sales. Thought I found a bargain from Target and would be a good first post but it was U.S. Target and unfortunatly I didn't notice. Not the best way to start I admit (I did try to do it right though and I was linked the deal from another Aussie site so … easy mistake to make. (didn't know Target was US either … but I sure do now. heheheh))
    Won't happen again ;)

    Well anyway … done and dusted now. One of the best things about this site is finding a good deal that's been posted and often it prompts fellow contributors to check it out and often find equal, better and even different deals through the original link and searches of their own that they then come back and post here also. It works Brilliantly and I've enjoyed watching this site evolve and turn into one of the most useful Australian Websites I know. I should have signed in ages ago. :) Great work everyone.

    I've got a Wii (thanks to an earlier OzBargain post), now I'm still just patiently waiting for the controllers to come on sale! They seem to be the expensive part!
