  • what's the warranty on this?

    • Comes with 12 months warranty

  • Thanks, just grabbed a dozen.

  • I've had an old Kenwood Chef mixer for many years…IME not many kitchen appliances live up to their hype, but these things really are beasts! :)

    • The old ones were made in the UK to a high standard, I went to their offices near Chichester UK many years ago and they were very proud to be UK built…

I believe they no longer build in the UK, but I hope they kept up the quality.

My mother still has her one that seems to have been made before plastic existed!

      • Ah, that's good to know, thanks!

Yep, mine's from the time of flared jeans & disco too; so it's still funk-ayyy! :)

  • Even though this is a runout model, it's still a really good price for such a powerful machine (just search the model and you'll see that prices are around the $750 mark).

Shame that my old Kenwood stand mixer is still going strong after 10 years…this is a very tempting deal.

  • I've been looking at buying a KitchenAid, is this a better deal?

    • I've read a few reviews, and most of them say the Kenwood is better

also it comes with more attachments, so you save another $500~ on the Kenwood

If you want a real kitchen tool, consider a Thermomix instead of either :P

      • +1

The Thermomix is much more expensive! :)

        • Indeed. And totally worth it. And you don't have to buy a bunch of unavailable optional extras for it.

  • BingLee, the Australian KM030 doesn't come with the liquidizer and food processor attachment like in the UK does it?

(Watching that video is making me drool. So…much..power…mmmmm…)

    • I had to run take a look. These are optional extras. We don't range them but they can be purchased from the Kenwood website. I may be able to get them in if you want them..

      • Thanks very much for checking.

    • wow after watching the video, it's like this machine can do anything.

      • Unfortunately the Australian version doesn't include the attachments. Not sure how much they would be.

Rang up my local Bing Lee store to see if they had them in stock and they said they could do it for $529 so went and grabbed one, an even better bargain.
