Cheap organic coffee - note this is pre-grinded at "DRIP GRIND"
Drip grind should be okay for if you're making coffee in a plunger or cold-brew style (i.e Hario)

updated title - thanks
Purchased. Thanks OP
Any good in an espresso machine with a duel walled basket?
no
Thanks op, will give this a try with my cold brew setup
What's your cold brew set up?
Eh, worth a go for travel press I take in the car. Will be well and truly stale but still beats instant.
Can you drink this like an instant coffee?
No
Well, you can… It'd work for people who like eating sand
Aldi single origin for $12.99 a kg is my go to after multiple OzB recommendations.
Short roast to shelf cycles ensures the coffee is far fresher than most in coles/woollies.
Which variety?
There are two single origin blends. Both are good, but I prefer "Colombia".
The Columbia Ash mentioned, got Bronze in last year's Golden Bean comp for single origin espresso.
Lazzio Medium Roast is the one I buy as a backup - Silvers in the same comp for espresso and milk based, Gold for filter.
That's quite a feat.
Only issue is the 1 kg size and quick death - so you'll need to freeze if you can't get through that much.
I can't buy green beans that cheaply.
do you grind then freeze?
this article seems to suggest that is the way to go:
https://drinks.seriouseats.com/2010/09/should-you-freeze-you…
@TEER3X: Never heard of that. Reading it and re-reading the homebarista articles, seems freezing whole beans is the go only if you can do so very closely after roasting.

verb conjugation: grind, ground, grond.
Thanks I'll try a couple of cold brew batches.
It’s from Canada….just sayin’
Price is now displaying as $6.99 now for me
Now its up to $7.99…
I'm not normally one to purchase pre-ground coffee, but this price for Organic i might as well give it a go.
Grind is too course. Coffee is as weak as piss. Cold brews or french press might be alright. For pour-over I like a finer grind than this. My grinder doesn't even have a setting this course. I might run it through and fix it up.
