I guess technically the coffee making is auto.
No such thing as a decent auto milk frother to be fair (except for maybe a Breville Oracle). They are just pass through systems.
Bambino plus
Technically, you don't need to take milk with your coffee. It's not called an automatic latte machine after all…
Edit: I didn't neg you.
I have this machine and coming from Nespresso I was skeptical and wanted fully automatic. Honestly I find the wand way easier with no cleaning (besides wiping the wand). It takes 20 seconds for the milk to get hot.
extra $25 off with Unidays
Thank you sir. Forgot about that offer, have added it to deal.
Thanks. Bought one through Ebay, got extra $5 off for ebay plus and free delivered. So $394 delivered to me. Now I need suggestion where to buy coffee beans for this machine?
I've had good results with limeblue coffee
Just ensure you change the shot volume/time so less comes out, check Reddit/YouTube for a guide. Also use the single shot button twice, instead of double shot (just extra water through the same amount of coffee).
You can also change the brew temp, I use the hottest setting.
The steam wand is underpowered, some suggest removing the paranello (or whatever it's called), but it doesn't do much in my experience.
My machine developed a leak after 2.5 years of daily use. Some leaks are easy fixes, but mine was too hard to figure out so I turfed the whole machine.
Too late now, but it's typically the valve that sits behind the control panel that leaks - it'll leak underneath the machine or into the used coffee drawer. Any other leak is usually pretty evident with the side panel off.
Yeah I removed the control panel and changed some of the little black o-rings on that valve I believe you're talking about. The leak was further in and I just gave up.
Probably could have fixed it, but I needed an excuse for a new coffee machine.
Hi, Can you help out with diagnosing/fixing this?
I've been quite happy with this machine just annoying that it now leaks and I struggled to see where its coming from.
@tommOz: If you run the machine with the side panel off (don't touch anything…) you should be able to locate a leak pretty easily. If there's no obvious signs and it's leaking underneath or into the tray, usually it's the "mechanics valve" which is what sits behind the control panel. Occasionally it's only the orings, but generally you need to replace the complete valve.
@wintermadness: cheers, will check it out.
@tommOz: Plenty of YouTube videos about this, fairly easy to remove the panels and get access to most leaks.
You will need a security t20 bit (hollow end).
I can't compare this to much, but for under $400 it's a pretty good deal.
I just bought an evo which froths the milk as well, but the result is miles behind the delonghi s, so it's more like a downgrade in terms of milk frothing (since it's auto), but the coffee coming out of the evo is better.
I paid $530 on Amazon black Friday. Recommend it over a pod machine. Experimenting with beans
Is this not false advertising ? Cant be fully automatic if you need to use the steam wand and a jug to make a latte! I've been drinking caffe lattes since the fifth grade and I haven't looked back!
- Who do you think started this whole caffe latte?
