    Looks dangerous…

I like how they say 100% brand new.
I prefer the ones that are 70-80% brand new

    • These have been around for a few years so 0% brand new might be more accurate. I'm not sure if they really work or not but I'd rather have my off-white teeth than mess with products like this.

      • True, mind you, i asked my dentist how much it would cost for him to do it.
It's $800 and you have to sit there for hours…..

        • Ours did for $500
u get a take home kit

anyway, would u rather have your teeth or $800 (or just don't bleach them!)

      • Really? You mean you wouldn't rather have bone-white coral?

  • I wonder what's in the gel.. I think I'd die from worry and then the gel!

  • some kind of bleach like peroxide i guess

    Use dentist ones…

Proper dental whitening products contain a peroxide - dentist ones are higher % around 30-40%… Take home ones are ususally 10% or so, therefore less effective.
You'd want a dentist one as they would scale & clean you first, removing plaque, calculus and staining thus exposing all enamel for the peroxide to penetrate.
Also if you have caries, tooth sensitivity, tooth enamel/dentine problems, gum problems, it might cause further damage if you don't get all those problems addressed first.
Dentists also makes you a custom bleaching tray to fit your teeth so the bleach goes right into all the right places and not just everywhere…like the gums which can cause marked inflammation and soft tissue burns…

    Just saying…

I wouldn't trust a piece of plastic that make in China and put it in your mouth.

buddy the whole world is made in China. People need to get over that.

These chemicals are not compliant with Australian safety standards, wouldn't be putting them in my mouth.

My dentist was telling me using any of the gel bleach products is bad for your teeth long term. Apparently the surface of your teeth are like microscopic honey combs, full of porous holes. Stains are when things like coffee/tea get stuck in those holes. Bleach will fix it but the acidity actually makes the holes larger and more porous meaning down the track your teeth will ultimately be worse off not to mention the enamel damage. Enough to scare me.

Perhaps these lights are safer but then it still uses a bleach gel so regardless of whether it's Australian-approved I'll be avoiding it.
