Currently, 2000 flybuys point is worth $10. When converted to velocity point with the bonus 18% = 870 x 1.18 = 1026 velocity points. Unless you are redeeming flight class upgrades, rewards seats cost around $0.008 per point.
Hence, your 1026 point is worth only $8.20 if you redeem Reward seats, much less if you redeem Anyseats.
