I wonder that too, and you will be surprise how much money women need to spend on tampons
Assuming women need 300+ tampons a year, that would be around $45 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/485098#comment-7761374), while a cup could last for 5-10 years
80% of the comments are absolute cringe. period.
jokes aside, anyone used these when travelling on planes? I understand they're boiled for hygiene?

I believe boiling is only needed at the end and/or beginning of cycle and of course when you using it for the first time
You can also use Milton mini sterilising tablets if you don't want to have a sauce pan particularly for the cup.
Remove before boiling. :)
Yes I've used them on holidays and it's great - easy to keep in your bag, don't take up room and don't need to go out to buy anything if you forget pads/tampons. Especially in a different country where you can't be sure what brand you will like.
I rinse mine between uses (where possible) and boil every day or so just to keep it clean.
I was wondering what to get my wife for Christmas this year
Based on the so many unpublished comments, OzBargain is becoming the new Whirlpool.
SAD
Coming next……..meet the new Women Only section (blokes with a sense of humour expressly forbidden).
I have a sense of humour but some of the jokes were not that funny. Kinda on the level of "lol I said the word vagina".
P.S. Mods, please don't unpublish this thread.
if you think Whirlpool mods wouldn't have deleted the entire thread by now then you don't know Whirlpool
Seems like an awful amount of money for what is essentially a silicon cup. is there something im missing here or what?

Amazing. Purchased
Fortunately beyond needing this stuff now, and forever grateful for that, but I would wonder about the logistics. I think I would, certainly, give them a try but I think they could get quite messy.
I wonder why girls still haven't figured out how to pee while standing up like boys.
You can get devices to do it, some women can do it without, but, mostly, we prefer not to pee down our legs.
Any cashback?
Will Officeworks price-match?
Okaayyy… This post has been one the most educational ones ever. Not the least in showing that it's not just stingy blokes who are on this site.
Mine arrived today! I love it, wasn't too hard to insert and removal is easy once you break the suction - super comfy too (you forget it's in you). I can't wait to start bleeding in a few days!
Thank you so much for sharing this deal wjojff :)
Right? They're bits of flexible plastic? I understand a price hike to ensure human compatibility and safety, but once production is in place… $62/2 pieces seems a rort.
