    Hyaluronic Acid

    Seems cheap.

What do I use this for?

    • +6

providing extra moisture to your face. pretty good product from what I've used in the past.

      eye drops

        thanks.

Dissolving tiny enemies in tiny ceramic tubs.

  • Prefer Marine hylaronics or Matrixyl over HA

Thank you, must have missed the 23% off post the other day. Restocked the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 60ml. Fantastic price.

Approved by Tom Wolfe and Timothy Leary :)

Pretty silly to give a blanket statement to not buy a product based only on your experience. Niacinamide assists with skin concerns like acne and personally transformed my skin and ended my breakouts.

      • yep it cleared up my acne and been struggling for with it for a long time having gone through so many products.

        • User error.

            • +1

              @jaygee: Still user error

The strength is ultimately the choice of the consumer. It's not like they tricked you into buying 10%. Read the label.

"I put diesel into my petrol car, don't go to this servo!!!"… Ok sure…

@Quantico: That makes no sense, I never said don't buy from the ordinary as your example claims. Try again buddy

    • Helped shrink my pores and even after i apply, due to pore shrinkage, the white heads pop out

      • Do the white heads stop eventually?

I think I have what you're describing but with melvorys probitioc cream

        • Nah. They just keep coming out. I can feel them on my fingertips like little grains as i scrape them away

          • @easternculture: I know what you mean. Sometimes a dried up pimple feels like it has a grain of sand come out. I think it’s the dried oil/sebum.

Thanks. Wasn't a fan of the squalane cleanser from the starter set but restocked on Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, Moisturizing Factors + HA and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

    • +2

same on the squalane cleaner, didn't like. For me, it felt too light and didn't seem to clean anything well or take off much grease/makeup. I still have 80% is a bottle somewhere, but I recall it not really mixing with water, but also not spreading well or lathering on my face. Would not buy again, but have gotten more of the HA, niacinamide, retinol products. Kind of wanted to try the squalane lip balm, but seemed a bit gimmicky and I have enough lip moisturisers at home!

      • The squalane cleanser is actually oil-based, so it's not meant to mix with water right away, which is probably why it didn’t work for you! I just apply it to dry hands, rub them together to warm it up, massage it into my dry face then rinse it off when I'm done. It doesn’t lather since it’s an oil, but it still works by dissolving other oils. Definitely recommend the other products you listed too!

    Anyone have trouble checking out?

    • Yeah I tried with paypal and a credit card and it said 'declined'.

      • yes i’m having that issue as well, it doesn’t even bring up the paypal page and errors out

    I am disappointed with the lack of colourful reactions. Too serious guys: Time to frolic in a field of Mushrooms :}

  • I personally do cerave cleanse+foam in shower, then toner (aesop), copper peptide(ord), then i mix 3 drops of the HA with some cerave moisturising lotion.

    • +2

Night: manually exfoliate first, then apply Natio exfoliating cleanser in shower. Then mix Niacinamide/HA and apply to areas face with pores, then apply tretinoin

Day: Natio cleanser again, followed with Marine hylaronics/hylamide subQ mix. Wait an hour then apply NMF/4 Drops Advanced Clinical Vit C (iherb) mix.

Since regime above, no more black heads, pores shrinked in size, only the slightest fine lines.
Only downside is dead skin cell shedding at times due to high conc tretinoin (accelerates skin cell production) so i use AHA/BHA

Currently transitioning to Marine hylaronics / Matrixyl as soon as all my HA supply finishes

      • Which high strength tretinoin do U use? Is it prescription strength?

      • I assume you have oily skin then

        • Correct. Used to have acne too and many many years ago was on oral tretinoin (i think i eventually was prescribed the highest dose) , which is how i experienced first hand the magical powers of tretinoin on the skin. The oily skin is now less probabaly because the tretinoin dryed up most of the oil glands

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

      • You must have the best skin on ozbargain…
Wish I could see the results, because I have no idea what ½ of what you said means and I'm keen to try cos I have giant pores from acne as a teenager.

    • I've seen dermatologists recommend using serums before creams/lotions to increase absorption and effectiveness. It might be worth trying

Any idea what’s the min spend for free delivery in SA?

    • Erm…it says it right there in the deal title: $7.99 Delivery ($0 with $30 Spend)

It should be Australia-wide as they use AusPost for small items, which is pretty much everything unless you order commercial quantities. (I didn't neg you, BTW)

  • Wait, I'm confused. Some people are saying this product for acne but the website states this product hydrates skin to help with wrinkles.

    What am I missing here?

    • These products assist with skin concerns related to acne such as blemishes, skin oil levels, large pores etc.

First move would be to find out what skin type + skin concerns you have prior to purchasing.

    • High levels of niacinamide has an anti-acne effect.

    • I see. I'm using Benzac AC 10%. It's effective, but I'm on the lookout for other products to add.

  • New to this but I think my partner will love a lil bit of Fancy ( Ordinary skin care), any suggestions which she can follow which are not too complex!?

Dry skin with no pores or black heads, age 40

Good starter products would be Niacinimide, The Buffet and Hyaluronic Acid.

Fantastic, affordable products. Buy it now to take advantage of 23% off and the free upsizes.

    • Try their regimen builder

  • What's the use by date on these? How long does 60ml typically last?

    • 60ml will likely last 3 months or so assuming you’re using my 3 drops a day

    • From FAQ

What is the expiry date of your products?

A few products such as NIOD CAIL 1% and our sun protection products will have an expiry date noted on the packaging.

For all others, the shelf life is three years when unopened and stored at room temperature. This is the regulatory threshold for testing. Upon opening, please refer to the period-after-opening (PAO) symbol to identify the lifetime of the product.

      • Thanks

  • Someone posted that we can subscribe to the product and get an additional 10% off, but I cannot seem to find the subscription button

    • There's no subscription option for this website. Perhaps you're thinking of another site?

  • Their payments provider seems broken. I can't add a default payment method on my profile page, it doesn't even verify the credit card details at all.

I read this as hydrochloric acid - what a trip!

    • Same here. It's rubbish at removing rust.

  • I know theres a limit of 2 each of the hyaluronic and niacinamide of the upsize. Does any know if you could do 2 separate transactions so I can get the upsize again?? thanks!

    • Yep, I just did this - 2 separate transactions - and was able to upsize again

    • Note, if my maths is correct, in the case of the hyaluronic acid, 2 x 60mL + 1 x 30mL is the cheapest per volume, delivered.

Edit: oh, but if you're getting both, that's irrelevant!
