When I was solo travelling, meeting and conversing with randoms was the norm. You legit do not know anyone until you do.
Back home, it just didn't feel the same. Outside of work and friend groups I just didn't have the time. Life is busy yo. These sites help you find others who are interested in the same thing. You don't pay money unless you are actually wanting to find someone for more than a bang,
The girl I met on eHarmony was 25mins away and not in any of friend circles. I would have never crossed paths with her. It later turned out we had mutual aquaintences but not the poeple we hang out with - so there is common ground and we've included those extended into our lives but it would have never been without EH.
