    Yes, as long as its the same product your extending. Sometimes the subscription extension doesn't calculate the extended days, a quick email to support and they can extend it.

      Would total security 2019 and total security 2020 count as the same version?

        Sorry I meant same product as if you need to extend Bitdefender Total Security, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus or Bitdefender Internet Security won't do it, has to be Total security.
        And yeah that Total Security 2019 = Total security 2020. Hope this helps.

  Real question, does anyone even pay for antivirus on their private devices anymore? I usually just run avast / avg, and am super careful when opening links and suspicious emails. It seems to do the trick.

    Yeah, sort of agree, however the main reason is that i set it up on my dad's (72yo) pc. He isnt savvy (at all!) when it comes to being careful with links/suspicious emails, so it all helps.

  Or go for Kaspersky for $15/2 years/3 PC's. Even if you are careful, why take a chance these days and the money is peanuts.

  If you use Windows 10 and have Windows Defender running, is there still any need for an external paid AV? People on other forums have said Windows Defender has improved a lot.
