  • Thanks, I'm gonna get that free chicken sandwich with miso soup in the afternoon.

    • Careful! The link says it's from 29/10. You might have to wait until tomorrow.

      • It shows up in the app as available for redemption. Anyone used it yet and can comment on the food?

        • 2 flavours available - katzu chicken (very nice and big portions), and egg with some sort of spicy sauce (will try next time).

      • Sign at the shop said available from 29/10 - 19/11. don't know if this means you have to redeem the free sando or register by 19/11.

  • i have lunch almost everyday at Macquarie centre, however Poked is probably the last place i would go. I am not saying their food or their service is bad but its just that every time i get lunch from there, i will have a diarrhea straight afterwards, i do eat sushi and stuff, i have no problem with it, but i always have problem with poked bowl.

P.S. by saying everytime i mean two times, after the two times, i never wanted to order food from there again.

    • Oof, I have a sensitive stomach so thanks for the heads-up.

    • Hi!

I’m really sorry to hear this. I will shoot you a message to try and fix this up.

      Cheers

      Justin

  • Gotta be honest, I thought a 'Japanese Sandwich' was actually sushi

      is it not ?

  • Nice, free food and it's nearby too.

  • Anyone tried the sandwiches?
I tried Poked when the $5 Wagyu bowls deal was on. Even with the deal, not quite worth it as i received around 1.5 slices of beef, the lady who served meticulously placed them into my bowl, looked a lot like that is what she was instructed or trained to do given the promo.
Guess I expect the same with this deal - a whole bunch of bread and veggies to fill.

Went there with a bunch of mates to get this deal. Lined up up for a good 5mins as they seemed under staffed for Fri lunch with a promo on. The staff said they had no internet so they could not honour it.

Went to Macca's for a $1 Big Mac instead.

Generally, I would think that doing a promo is to get customers to try your product and get a good experience.

It seems like they managed to achieve the opposite to provide a bad experience.
