    ah. finally figured out.

    step 1: add a new USA address (i used my HopShopGo USA address). the giftcard is delivered electronically to my email.
    step 2: select USD50 egiftcard
    step 3: key in the code before purchasing.

  Worked for me. Pretty easy to do.

  Login at Amazon.com, then add the gift card, and click buy now. When it comes time to check out, use a US address - I just use a hotel. Pay with Credit Card in US currency.

    I don't have a US prime account just an AU one but I can ship goods from US store to me. Free shipping over $49 spend with Amazon US for prime members globally.

    Amazon.com ship heaps to Oz. They opened it back up this tie last year. Ive ordered heaps of movies in last 12 months.

      they ship a lot less than they used 2, it cost more with border tax, the libs have fu'ed our economy, and amazon au. don't ship half of what's available on the us site. prime does not give free international shipping on most items, and the new amazon setup is way worse than before.

      it sucks basically, why anyone thinks you can do trade deals with the yanks that benefit the other party beats me. you're an idjit to trust a yank -they stab their allies in the back for a buck.

        They ship all i need. And GST is just part of life. Sucks but i still prefer to buy my movies from Amazon US than from here. Plus i dont use Prime so that makes no diff to me.
