I went with the v30+ it seems great so far but I have no use for a front facing camera. It is indeed fairly shitty.
Had a mate 10 until a couple of months back and upgraded to a mate 20 pro. Tbh I kinda miss my mate 10 which still flew through tasks and had excellent battery life. The mate 20 pro had an easier to handle form factor and slightly better camera (my reasons to upgrade) but otherwise the mate 10 pro would still be a great phone despite being from 2017 and ticks the slimmer form factor box.
I've standard Mate10 (not the pro) and likewise it has been amazing.. Won't be upgrading before it dies which even after 2 years doesn't appear to be any time soon
I love my mate 20 pro. Best phone I've ever owned. Upgraded from a note 8. Easy decision. Fastest phone I've owned. If I was to or needed to upgrade, I'd definitely get a mate 30 pro.
I've got the mate 10 Pro. Unfortunately I broke the camera but the rest of the phone still works great. Good battery life, screen and speed. I'll be buying the V30 so I have a working camera again though

Bought a mate 10 pro from an allphones ebay plus deal last year.
The phone has a USB-C port and matching USB-C ear plugs were included in the package. phone is pretty amazing and charging is super fast.
Android 9 EMUI 9.1 update was smooth and easy.
