Been using this for the past 6 months or so. Got it for 177 from the above site when they had a sale. Great for the price but digitizer is pretty bad, you can feel it skip a tap here and there, but only if you type fast. Most people probably won't even notice.
Amazing screen, even though it's 720p for the price its insane. Great battery life, get about 7 hours+ with heavy social media use. Only downside, I don't know if its Xiaomi software but snapchat runs pretty bad in terms of connection, the phone will have wifi and data but snapchat will be getting kb/s speeds. Thought it was the lack of band 28, maybe it is but the same happens on wifi.
It comes to around 200 delivered no tracking.
Also that one does not have band 28?
They are the same phones, I just linked a better deal. None of the Redmi 7 have band 28.
I second this, my Note 7 stated B28, but it does NOT have band 28 as it was the Global version M1901F7G (Only the M1901F7H has b28 and it's not easy to find or confirm before purchase)
M1901F7G does not have the Aerial or amplifier for it, I tried NVram hacking, then I found the FCC doco that proves it's impossible
@menvert: Correct. The extra bands you get on a H version are strictly hardware upgrade.
Yeah, for $189. I'd rather get the Samsung A20 instead and do the unlock. It also has band 28.
Very similar specs and currently $169 at BigW. Much more energy efficient since it's clocked at a lower speed, but still retains two A-73 cores for performance.
Yeah I'd pick the A20 at 189 too but that deal wasn't there when I needed a new phone. It has Super AMOLED and NFC too.
Samsung has been doing good with their A series phones but for the unlocked versions they are a good 50-80 dollars too expensive. If they priced them better they would probably own the budget market.
Yep, as much as I dislike the Samsung UI, the Xiaomi UI is a lot more annoying (unless you like apps randomly stopping and no longer sending notifications as it is so hugely aggressive about killing apps for battery) also it doesn't support Android Enterprise work mode as it has an extra security prompt that cant be handled.
Highest fps: 720p, 120 fps
Got a Samsung A20 for Target. $169 NFC, B28, AMOLED Display, Great Cameras, Samsung One UI, Australian Warranty.
Done.
From the feedback provided by buyers from this seller they received Redmi 7 M1810F6LG model.
This shows no B28 for that model..

A lot of better options around this price.
