Thanks will try this December
This is good deal.. I already purchased the Singtel hi!Tourist EZ-Link SIM which is non-refundable, so I think I'll pass
Thanks OP prebooked for my February trip.
Sick, thanks OP. I'm heading there soon and this will be great.
Perfect, thanks OP! Reserved two for our group of four since we're only staying for a day, but you can reserve one per passenger if you want to.
Any chance they might expand to include Scoot flights as well?
Let me contact Singapore Airlines CEO now.
I will travel scoot to Singapore and then SQ to somewhere else. And I think I am not eligible, no response from the website.
Thanks OP! The confirmation email has automatically listed my arrival date (stopover during outbound flight), but I was actually going to use it on my way back (stopover during inbound flight). Since the whole return trip only has one reference no., wonder if this means I can only collect/use this during the outbound journey?
I too am in the same boat as you, need to use it on the return as I'm stopping over for a week's R&R.
I have the same situation and just did a chat with the rep to change the booking to the inbound journey
Immigration: Reason for visiting Singapore for 3 days?
Answer: I'm here for the Wi-Fi.I was replied I wanted to go shopping. The customs officer was not impressed and said "you know you can do shopping at home la?" So I said fine, I want to see the Merlion and drink singapore slings. Sure enough they let me in. Weird bunch of customs officials.
used this for couple of days ago while in transit for 24 hrs in Singapore.
You pick this up from terminal 2, which should be okay from AU flights.
Only hassle I would say is if you are flying out from say terminal 1 or terminal 3 from Singapore. You need to go to terminal 2 first, return your wifi and then go to which ever terminal. Thanks - that's helpful to know.
Great! Have just booked the flight next February.
Do not understand this. Is it just getting free wifi at the changi airport ? Changi airport anyway gives free wifi at the terminals. What’s different in this ?
I think it's moreso if you're going to be staying in Singapore (such as if you have a 3 days stayover.)
Don’t forget your free Changi dollars if you transiting through also.
Thanks OP, reserved for next March!
The extension is pretty reasonable too: extend up to 10 days with additional 50GB data for just SGD12
Alright, time to buy some Singapore Airlines tickets to get that free WiFi.
