If you happen to own a pair of these already, keen to get your feedback

We will be stocking some more deals on audio technica very soon!

Buyer beware of fakes online, you can tell by a close up (there's no reference to audio technica)

Good price. If you could do a good deal on the Audio Technica ATH-AD700 I'd wager you'd have lots of happy OzBargainers!

Ath have way too many earphones

But I will look into it :)

We are planning on stocking up new models too

But it won't be this crazy, price wise

        • I will be all over the AD700s if you could do us a good deal :D

    • yeah i have these. bought these back in japan a few years back. i love the fact that you can extend the cord. they are comfy but they tangle up way to easily.

I don't own a pair, I have a set of sennheiser in ear headphones - picked them up at a Melbourne Computer swap meet for $10 so i suspect they are fake - but spending $29… yes a discount from $69… my question is if you buy a PROPER set of earphones - do you really notice the difference.

Having said that Im a guy that listens to music on the train to work - that's the extent

    • +5

If you can tell the difference, you should pay for it.

    • +1

Well if you buy it from mymemory its authentic if you like your cx300s.

Or if you dont mind it in pink its only 13pounds :P

      • Thanks Doey21, just point out thought, the pink are the cx300, not the cx300 II. you can see by the description and doing the close up on the photo.

    Yes

You can tell the difference. When it comes to earphones you get what you pay for

There are exceptions when your buying cosmetic earphones headphones like Beats

But that's a different ball game altogether

I did some research before stocking up. Most sites give it 7-8/10

For $29 delivered we thought this will make a few peeps happy

    :) crazy yes

    Customer service - very important

  • Decent deal but I would check other sites for cheaper price, such as the following two:

    1. http://www.crazysales.com.au/audio-technica-ath-ck303m-headp…
    2. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Audio-Technica-Inner-Ear-Headphon…

Plus i've never been quite a fan of the in-ear unless I wish to be deaf when I turn 30.

    • It doesn't matter what type of headphones you use, it's how loud you play your music that contributes to your loss of hearing

    • Could be fake, there are even $5 ones out there. Of course, that's not to say that this deal is definitely genuine….

      • Guaranteed genuine with 1 year warranty

We are authorized resellers in Australia

You won't be around for 9 years selling fakes

    • Crazy sales site are shipping these from overseas

With a postage fee of $20

eBay listing, good luck to those who think it's real.

Alibaba.com photo - now will Ath sell these through a Chinese marketplace…?

  • Rather hard to find reviews for these… or even anything that mentions them. I found a post at Head-Fi from back in 2008 when they were launched but that's it.

According to that page, the original MSRP was 3675 yen ($43.41). I suppose it's possible that the price inflated to $70 because, hey, this is Australia. $30 sounds like a good deal, and Audio Technica is a good brand, but without reading reviews it's still quite a gamble.

    • well i bought these in japan for more than 43.41 aud but the yen had risen dramatically against the aussie dollar back then so I was paying a helluva a lot more. About 80 aud if memory serves me right. (back then you'll be lucky to find any audio-technica stuff here in retail)

  • Quick post update

Free shipping function have been updated

    Please proceed to checkout :)

  • I found a review here from PCWorld India - http://202.138.100.143/product/review/audio-technica-ath-ckm…

"The Audio Technica ATH-CKM30 is a pair of clean sounding in-ear headphones and would suit casual listeners but bass heads should stay away from it."

  • Cheers, picked up a pair.

I have a set of ATH-AD900s but needed something to wear on the bus etc… that are pocketable and I don't mind if I lose or damage.

  • What is everyone's thoughts on ckm50 for $35

    Any interest there?

I may get my hands on some red ones I. The near future
