@Fappy Bunny: 50% agree, dragon quest 11 is on 3ds,pc per, and Pokemon no longer features ALL Pokemons.
@worldpc: Personally I find the pokemon thing blown out of proportion, practically speaking. I haven't ever transferred a pokemon in the last few gens. Having said that, game freak should stop being stingy and just make the damn pokemon…
@worldpc: Wouldn't blame game freak on the limited pokemon, balancing and remodelling all Pokemons would take a lot of time, which they don't have now Consider that they want pokemon as a supporting game for the new switch lite, good marketing strategy I'd say.
Additionally , pokemon sun and moon anime recently just ended … So perfect timing ?

I have UK eBay GC ready to go for a switch deal but I think we are still getting price gauged on 2019 models…as per above I think we will start seeing more $350 is deals soon…already been a bigw one but it sold out.

What do the OG (unpatched) switch models go for second hand? I have no interest in hacking my switch but I do have some interest in better battery life (might be more efficient to do it this way than buy a big old power brick…)

I tried reading on Wikipedia but they only mentioned Switch and SwitchLite (which is newer but smaller, portable only, and EBGames is selling for only $299)

@Averell: As cnut mentions there's the red box. There is also a way of checking the serial code. I've forgotten it now but the box is definitely the easiest way.

Has anyone used the 28 Degrees credit card offer to get money back on deals like this, got one for my brother 2 weeks ago for $428?
As long as it's exactly the same thing (same model, same colour, same included items), you should be fine. Even if it's not absolutely identical, you can give it a shot - but you could potentially get knocked back.

I'd wait a couple of months for the Xmas deals to start and pick it up for around $360.
