This is stupid.. they brodened all telstra stock and now sell it higher on ozbargain?? BrodenSquare??
xD
That's what I first thought too, but this is the 10" version… The Telstra version was the original 7" Tab
No, it's a 7 inch tab. Can you fit a 10" in your back pocket?
"The sleek, lightweight 13.58oz design is small enough to fit in your pocket and the striking 7” WSVGA screen delivers brilliant viewing quality"
It that case, that's a huge arse in the first pic in the details section. :D
Sorry, but this looks like the 7" version.
Display * 7.0" WSVGA Display
this is the 7" wifi only model, not 10" model.
but yes, it is a different model to the original 7" GSM/Wi-fi model (it is worse…but it is in stock)
P1000/P1000T = 7", GSM/Wi-fi
P1010 = 7", Wi-fi onlyhttp://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/48237
check my post for 3g version
if your not sure if its a deal post it in the forum, thats what its for!
*If *you're not sure if *it's a *deal, post it in the forum, *that's what *it's for!
;)
no one likes a grammar nazi :P
Especially one that's muffed the markdown syntax…talk about glass houses! :p
Fair call. :)
@StewBalls how did I break the syntax for markdown? I was correcting "IM style".
OzB uses markdown syntax, it doesn't seem to interpret IM style, so your comment just looks like asterisks all over the shop to me.
There's a link at the bottom of the page & several forum posts on the various styles! ;)
That's what I was aiming for. To correct one's self in IM conversations, it usually goes something like this:
Helol.
*Hello
The asterisk denotes a correction made to that word. :)
Fair enough, I'm not familiar with it…I've learned something for the day! :)
Don't put 2 IF's in a statement. It should read:
*If you're not sure it's a deal, post it in the forum. That's what it's for!
Good call, my correction stands corrected. :)
OMG WTF?! what is this today?
care factor?
afaik, in addition to the lack of GSM, the P1010:
-has a slower CPU and GPU than the P1000
-has slower bluetooth than the P1000
-can't be flashed with Overcome ROM (or other ROMs made for the GSM model).i would avoid. i believe the GSM model can be had for around $400 or so on ebay. i'd say it's probably worth paying the extra.
No 3G, More expensive than Telstra's price of a few weeks ago, less space than a nomad. Lame.
Viewsonic Vpad 10" tablet
1024 x 600
Dual boots Android and Win 7
Tegra (first gen) with Atom N455http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/product.php?id=90741
Is this a good deal for $375 (+18 shipping)?
nyce… dueal boot… 10" odd the shipping is so cheap for shoppingsquare, they are usually a rip off.
*dual boot…
4 hour battery life too…really wish you could edit a few days after you post something…
Good find…may be worth posting this separately?
Damn, that's really good. I just bought the 10S for $375 a couple of weeks ago!
No 3G = no sale
Dearer, weaker.Telstra and JB had the full P1000T @ $299 for ages.
This is the piss-weaker Wifi only version. Not today buddy :p
There was a heap of these on ebay some time back, the seller said they had imported them from the US!
I had them on my watch list, they got up to just under $200 shipped & I was gonna bite; but at the last minute the seller withdrew the sale…looks like they might've struck up a deal with Broden, erm I mean SS! ;)
This cheap version only worth $150 to me
$380 for a basic 7" tab delivered?? Where is the bargain there?
I would rather buy Asus transformer from Amazon…
