Was shopping at Woolies today and saw the sodastream cylinders are 40% off. May be a price error as not reflected online.
Might be worth checking your local to see if it is in other stores.

This is a new cylinder, usually $35
I like to keep a spare cylinder around for when one goes flat so I always have spicy water.
I use it for home brew, so an extra bottle at a refill price is gold
I had 3 bottles that I rotated at home… until I bought an adaptor and a big CO2 cylinder. Haven't changed my cylinder for the last year, fizzing up a bottle every night. Amazing

Agree - got the exact same setup. Haven't had to refill mine for ages!
They have stock of the 6kg and the refill adapter as I just bought it yesterday from their Springvale outlet.
What is the deal with the syrup ? ( Virgin user from $20 Ebay deal )

I like just fizzy water (mineral water), no flavouring.
If needed, just buy cheap cordial from Woolies and use sparingly.
My favourite is a squeeze of lemon and a tablet of equal.Fizzy water is soda water.
Just use any cordial from the supermarket. If you can find a mate who will sneak you out some of the legit branded post-mix syrups from a maccas or a pub, even better!
To buy a new cylinder? Or exchange?
