Definitely use price protection. They recently release AW3420DW in US so you can claim it next time when they have clearance on these.

  • Still pretty expensive, may as well just get an Acer predator x34p for $1050. Seems to be pretty much the same thing.

    • I got my x34p for $900 only 2 months ago. Buying this seems like overkill. $500 extra for what benefit?

      • Hoping another deal like that comes around, wouldn't mind paying $1050 but right now everyone is sold out or selling for $1200.

@RogueWolf: Thank you. Though i don't have Ebay-plus and the postage time on there says 1 month. Thinking i'll just wait a bit.

@RogueWolf: Yeah saw that, though they're out of stock and they've had some wonky ETAs on when they'll get more. Sent them an email yesterday and got this.

"Unfortunately this is because our ETA that we were given from our supplier was wrong and they currently don't have stock and they don't have an ETA"

@Jeffry: Damn everyone with long delivery or OOS, maybe new model coming soon

    • Seems to be pretty much the same thing.

On paper, sure, but paying the extra for Dell's quality assurance and warranty is worth it.

      • Bought it through Amazon, so I'm not worried about warranty. Never had an issue with them with returning things that don't work.

        • I was more referring to the warranty process itself.

      • Yep. Dell really goes the extra mile with things like advanced replacement, extended warranty, etc.
