  • The code brought it down to $20.99 ($4 off) instead of $19.99 when I tried it. Haven't bought yet, please let me know if this is right?

    • We have lowered the price. now u can order at $19.99

  • Ditto for me. This is taking $4 off, not $5.

    • We have lowered the price to give you at $19.99. Thanks

  • Please wait I’ll fix it.

  • Does this swivel (around the base)? I know the end that holds the tablet can rotate (360 degrees), but what about the clamp end (eg. to swivel the whole arm away from you)?

The reason I ask is: what happens after you've finished using it? Do you have to bend the arm away (seems to be some concern around bending it too often), or undo the clamp and remove the whole thing (seems inconvenient to keep taking on and off again)?

    • Sorry but can't adjust the clamp. You can adjust the gooseneck. Thanks a lot.

Could be decent for an action figure flight stand

  • I have bought like that from Miniso for $4 and it came out totally rubbish.
This one could be premium version.

  • Any deal for the newer vesion which has a longer arm?

  • These are great but there is definitely some cheaper ones on ebay going anywhere from $12 AUD and below with free delivery.

I bought a similar ~75 cm / 30 inch one for $16 in March 2019 and same item is now $14 in September 2019.

    Great product.

If this was for the longer 90 cm one then this might be a deal.

From the pictures you could argue the clamp claws are thicker than some of the ebay ones to justify the price but at half the price I can't positively vote this deal.

  • This kind of bendy extension are notorious for failing.

Hardly a surprise - it's what happens when you constantly deform metal rods.

That doesn't mean it may not be worth it to you while it survives.

I have one of these. They're a quality stand. I'm very happy with it - here's my Amazon review:

"I'm enjoying using my 8" Huawei tablet with this stand - it's holding the tablet directly above my head in bed and it's more stable than I expected it to be given the position and arm length it's required to have. It does bounce around a little after each press and for extended touch use a steadying hand is required, but the device is held out quite a ways from the base - so if you were to shorten the distance I imagine you could get it quite stable. Nevertheless, once a video is started it sits above my head perfectly and I don't need to worry about the tablet falling or the arm bending of its own accord. This is a higher quality stand than the price would suggest. Recommended!"

I am cautious of how often I bend the rod (to increase its longevity). I don't have a cheaper one to compare it to, but it ticks all the boxes for me.

Edit: I should mention that the clamp is excellent - it's way stronger than expected and you can do it up tight!

      Thanks for the review!

Would you be able to comment in regards to my question above: after you finish using it, what do you do to move it away from in front of you? Do you bend it out of the way? Or do you undo the clamp and remove the whole thing?

(Neither of those options seems idea, to me, as I would be concerned with the longevity from doing either of those things!)

      • Most of the time it stays where it is, but if I do need to move it I do just push it out of the way (which does cause the rod to bend). Obviously that's weakening it, so I try to keep it to a minimum.

I figure if keep the bending to a minimum and I get (say) 2 years out of it and it breaks, I'll just replace it. I'm not suggesting that's how long it'll last (I'm picking a number out of the air), I'm sure I'll get longer out of it than that - but I can live with under $20 a year to have it. My neck gets bad to the point of $70 chiropractor visits if I use the tablet in bed with it resting on my chest, so $20 a year to save multiple $70 chiropractor visits is good value!

I'd also be more annoyed having a stand that had a crappy clamp on it. The clamp is done up tight (like really tight) and will not move. I'd be annoyed if it did and I had a tablet fall on my head. :-)

        Edit: typo.
