Xerox DocuPrint CP205w LED Colour Laser Printer (Wireless/Ethernet/USB) for $199.50!

90

This printer packs alot of features into a small package. Part of the Xeros S-LED low power range of colour laser printers, 1200 x 2400 dpi, it weighs only 11kg and offers full 10/100 ethernet, USB 2.0 and wireless connection.

The retail price on the Officeworks website is $229 but if you show them the Harris Technology promotion below:

http://www.ht.com.au/list.hts?keyword=cp205

they (Officeworks) will discount it to that price ($210) then another 5% (gives $199.50).

This offer will be valid for as long as the Harris Technology offer remains.
I suggest you call first to locate stock at Officeworks.

If you are looking to get it posted, head office told me it might be considered standard postage which is free or $5 but please check it may be more.

All in all, a premium printer at an inkjet price!

  • Is Led printer any good?

    • I have a CP205w with me now and think it is great.

  • IIRC pricematching is not a bargain, but the price from the other store is. Mention the original price in the title and first bit of discription and link to the original price and then mention pricematching in the discription later on.

Otherwise it's not bad of a deal.

  • How is this one compared to the Xerox C1110 Colour Laser for the same price at MSY? MSY selling the OEM 4 toners set for $69 which make it a very viable for day to day printing.

  • HT no longer have the printer on sale. Price has returned to $228

    • it's still there, go to the URL again.

      • Nope, it's gone. Still listed as limited stock, however, clicking the 210 priced printer takes to you a dead link.

  • This model is a bang for it's buck, cheap Led which is better than laser. And probably one of the best models around. I was looking at this model for a while an the only issues people are having is the wireless isn't very friendly even though it's a n series connectivity. Dpi is also good. Good buy

    • I hooked it up tonight via wireless… supports all the different types of networks (eg. WPA2PSK with TKIP).

You can configure the setup on the PC (via the USB) which is 1000x easier than the LCD menu on the printer. Also has a http server like everything these days.

  • Goodluck PM!

    • They might be updating their site for June 30, it's still listed on the given URL. In any case i've uploaded a quote from HT you can use regardless.

  • can this be refilled.cant find too much info on refilling the xerox laser printers. it appears that the Samsung printers are easier to refill.

    • Why need refilled when OEM toner for a set of 4 colours is only $69 for the C1110 laser printer.

  • I bought one from Officeworks for $210. They wouldn't beat the price since HT are a sister company. Seems like a good printer. Wish Fuji Xerox were more user friendly when it comes to finding drivers online for Mac OS X. Seems not to exist online. I will have to hang on to the provided driver cd.

    • It is strange that they say there are no drivers available

    • That is absolutely BS that they won't price match HT. I don't see an exclusion clause saying they don't pricematch sister companies.

"Our price checkers guarantee that we bring you the lowest prices possible every day, and that's a promise. However, if you happen to find a cheaper advertised price on a stocked item even if it's on sale, we will not only match it, we'll beat it by 5% for bringing it to our attention."

      • I didn't really push the issue, but perhaps they would have beaten the price if I did. Happy enough with $210 and that I was able to procure one before EOFY.

  • With this price, you may just use it until the drum died and replaced the whole printer.

  • I have decided to go with C1110 after a long hard decision because of the cheap oem toners.
Set it up is a breeze and all my 4 pcs can use it through the ethernet. The quality is amazing for $199.

    • How about the OEM capacity, compare to the original?
