Certain sellers on eBay seem to have the vms4230p going for around $560 after discount code all the time.
Unfortunately after the recent Amazon deal ($479 delivered), I'd be holding out for something similar now that I know it can drop to that price > https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/465572
That being said that didn't have the 12 month premier plan promotion code in the box which is worth quite a bit (IIRC $13 a month * 12 months = $156) and some people want the extra camera support and 30 days of video recording. That being said I don't understand the point of 'activity zones' given the camera already has this but I suppose that's when it's plugged in to power shrug
