Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 is expected to be announced next week 29/8.

    • So I'm hoping the 7's price will drop shortly after then

  • Are these better then the oppo reno z?

  • +1

Hope they honour these. Took them 17 days to get round to refunding me for headphones here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/474716
Lots of others got their orders cancelled too. Won't use them again.

Just bit the bullet on the 128GB one, in spite of your warning. We'll keep yous posted.

    • Yep they're a gamble. I believe some people had their headphones posted though.. I don't recommend this seller

  • I bought it from eBay around 240 mark with promo code -

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-7-64GB-4GB-RAM…

    • what code is that and is it still valid?

      • Panther

        • That code didn't work for me, but if you paid AU$240 for the 64GB w/ AUWTY, well done!

        • The PANTHER code is only valid for ebay plus members

          • @froodh: Ebayplus membership available for $1. See if you are eligible.

            • @ady211: I've got membership, but expiring next month on my primary ebay account, not planning to renew.

Great phone for the price. Had mine for 3 months now. Exceeded all expectations.

Seconded, had mine since March and it's been perfectly fine, the whole no band 28 thing is overblown IMO and I'm in edge-case reception environments daily on Telstra in the country. Works as well if not better than my old LG V20 and Galaxy Note 5 out here, people act like no band 28 is a death sentence, just buy the damn phone…

    Non Band 28 Version :/

    • +1

this is the only reason why I have not bought this phone.
I have used the Note 3 with band 28 for many years and it is a rock solid phone.

    • why is band 28 so important? If you live in country? Downloading data?

      • +1

B28 is useful on Optus and Telstra for a couple of reasons. One, it is the predominant Band in Rural/regional areas. Also, B28 has more penetration (700MhZ) in buildings, etc.

  • Dumb question, maybe, but why is it called a note does it have a stylus or what?

  • remember to use the WELCOME10 code on checkout for $10.00 off your first purchase

  • Purchased 6 days ago - order still processing :(

    • 10 days still processing

      • 28 days and its not here yet
