  Measurement accuracy of +/- 2mm is the norm for cheap digital measuring devices if anyone is curious.
  Rechargeable battery is a great feature.

  I wonder if it does Pythagorean sums though?!

      I don't know about this one.
      Under “Top 6 Master of Measurement” in the first item “0.5 second fast measurement” it has a tip that says “Tips: Please aim the laser at the human eye to avoid injury.”
