    I bought it a couple of weeks ago for $1700, 9th Gen i7 9770
The hard drives are super super slow. Like HDD start up slow, and opening programs are slow. First thing I did was swap both out for samsung evo 970 500GB + evo 1TB.
The RAM did not help at all. I added 16GB Kingston. Laptop runs super fast now.
It's a heavy laptop and the fans sound like rain on a corrugated iron roof. They start up every 30sec to 1min. L-O-U-D!! You can tweak them with DELL's software but you sacrifice speed and it gets even hotter heat.
The laptop gets hot pretty fast too. Don't plan on having it resting on your lap unless you want burnt thighs.
DELL have filled it full of bloatware too like McAfee and Dell laptop monitor programs that pop up in the bottom right side of the screen. This all disappeared when I inserted new SSDs and loaded new win10.
The graphics card is exceptional. I use it for photoshop and 3d rendering. It's lightening fast and for my purposes, I'm happy with it. But I do NOT like how loud the fans are.
Would NOT pay $2,100 for it or an 8th Gen.

    • My brother has the same machine and hasn't complained about the fans. He uses it for photoshop and video editing too. I think he has a 8th Gen CPU though.
