This one is not bad for $650. Not sure if its included in the discount but it shows from the link OP provided

If you can pick up, it is a reasonable deal, but the shipping is way too high (free shipping excludes desktop?).

      • +3

I was about to buy it.

Then think again and check youtube videos,

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63Kog4xmUUs

oem green pcb, no heatsink on vrm and blower no label gpu.

        maybe not

        • +1

Good god… if it's anything like the one in that video, I'd also run a mile.
Looks like an ancient desktop you'd pull out of your attic with the tiny little unbranded GPU and lack of a proper CPU heatsink.

Funnily, I wrote the above and then looked back at the video and the top comment from 3 years ago:

WOW the interior looks like something from 10 years ago.

I strongly disagree, there are quite a few decent computers for more than fair prices.

It would be a good idea to list some bargains (Laptop Specs followed by final price) rather than having us lazy ozbargainers read about the history of your store and your mission statement and then have to click to the store to manually calculate the post-discount pricing.

We are Australia’s largest Technology Refurbishment Centre, everyday customers trust Renewd to give new life to used devices and blah blah blah

That's something you put on your Contact Us / LinkedIn page, not on a deal post.

    • read about the history of your store and your mission statement and then have to click to the store to manually calculate the post-discount pricing

People had to read all this stuff, then find out there's no bargain to be had.
They then riot and neg bomb the store to ashes.

Ugh all over the site I see $200 coupons, $120 coupons, etc etc… why not just simply put them at a good price so it's in your face without stupid coupons? Mark them down to that price instead.

    • +4

I always wonder why don't vendors just put the lowest price on their website including all discounts. Then many of us who always buy online can easily find them through price tracking websites or just google.

      • +1

Because, for some people, that works….Business's are in the business to make money, not necessarily to appease the fine bargain connoisseurs that frequent this joint.

No deal, the last Hp Omen deal for $499 was better (/s)

    • That would be a deal if someone actually received one ;-)

  • Too expensive

    • I agree there is no deal here - 99% of the gear is over priced.

  • really? no outstanding one or two from the list? i saw asus with Geforce GTX 980M which according to google is better than newer 1050ti

  • Curious where the deal is here?

The Acer Nitro Spin 5 can be had for around $1,500-1,600 NEW, how is a refurb for $1,800 a deal at all?

As a side note, the listing says "New Price Regular price $2,999.00 NOW $1,800.00", I have never, ever seen the Nitro Spin 5 for anywhere near $3,000… Is this even legal?? Amazon suggests the highest price it has ever been is $2,439.10

  • Any decent one for DOTA2?

I bought a few laptops from them when they were Red PC on eBay. couple of them had various faults. One died after 2 months, for 1 month I hadn't used it. Tried to get some remedy, they refused. at that stage, only 30 days was stated. They just wouldn't have any part of return or fix. I ended up getting HP to fix it, needed a screen replacement (strangely although not broken, it was stopping the laptop from working apparently). It does keep me away from them.

      • +1

Sounds like HP. Low on one colour ink? Guess you can't scan then.
