any1 know how this runs overwatch 2 and what frames to expect
I don't but an RTX4050 6GB sounds pretty decent. I have a similar set up on a Lenovo LOQ, and while I don't play Overwatch, it handles Rivals quite alright, just not on the highest graphics settings. Same as Fortnite.
Not quite PS5-level, but close enough.
That fan though.
4050 6gb sounds like it could be a real stinker
I'd look up some benchmarks to get an idea before buying, if you're interested in OW
Has the power to run most thing reasonably, but the 6gb is the real issue with a handful of new titles checking and not booting with less than 8gb vram. Eg Indiana Jones
can a second drive be added to this or not?
From what I read no, it doesnt. The motherboard has space for one but there are no connections for it.
There were like RTX 3050 or somethin laptops for $600 a while back right?

Yeah would be really nice if I can get a similarly specced gamer laptop for $600 ish again.
Wow what a bargain for that 16GB Acer!
Yeah that pricing is rare for something w 16gb of ram plus dGPU!
If I had known back then I would've brought it but I must've missed it and not checked ozbargain at the time :(!
@AeymothSky: It was out of stock in 2 hours lol.
Unless you have some sort of Rss feed set up, you ain't going to know about it.
@Wonderfool: Ah right.
Would be nice if there was a $800 ish option with these sorta specs still though. Maybe that would be more realistic and achieveable
I spent an extra $100 for better specs https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/879795
Using it right now and it's everything I expected. Obviously depends on use-case if you think it's not worth
Yeah that's okay but I feel it's a bit too much for it to be a deal.
It's still decent though compared to the full price stuff but I just think these laptops these days are a bit overpriced.
But yeah at that price point I can't really justify spending on one.
code won't work for me?
Ahh the code is wrong!
It is meant to be HP20FF
HP 20! FFS
or rather 20 FPS. ffs
So tempted.. anyone know of a cheap 4060 laptop as a ‘step up’? The HP VICTUS with 4060 on eBay is $1439 after 20%
Acer Nitro V often goes on sale around $1200-1300
Is this the same laptop as this? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/879095
Last time got less vote and even 1 neg
🤣🤣 Exact same deal. Man thats rough.
where's Brrrrt with the neg.
UpVoteflation?
Only considering this I am downwoting this Ozbargain deal
Idiot. Can't even spell correctly.
depends on what time of the day it gets posted some people just hate certain brands
How's Victus build quality compare to LOQ?
In general I find Lenovo better build than HP
Agreed. I love my LOQ. And I don't mind their Vantage app either.
Can this play GTA 6
You’d need the crystal ball upgrade for that.
My guess is 4050 will run it, 4060 will run it well.
Yeah it probably will run on this. Won’t be a great experience.
Bro, this plays GTA 7
Your main worry here is the 6gb. Some titles are releasing with 8gb VRAM minimum. GTA 6 has a chance of being in this category.
got the LOQ for around 1.1k with cashback and TRS similar specs but with a ryzen 5 it had upgradability so if that's what u like the LOQ might be better
12-14 gens Intel tends to overheat? Ryzen is better I think?
Regret getting a Victus, very cheap and plastic. I also keep having blue screen issues when on battery power, it says TDR video failure, still not sure whether it's a hardware or software fault though
Mux switch?
