The Korean-style fried-chicken chain is giving away 1000 free pieces this week. Korean-style fried chicken chain Gami, which means means “beautiful taste” in Korean, opened in Melbourne in 2006. It makes some of the best fried chicken in town using a recipe of 17 different herbs and spices, and has outposts in Melbourne's CBD, Box Hill, St Kilda, Fitzroy, and in Chippendale in Sydney.
Now it's adding a store at The Glen Shopping Centre in Glen Waverley to the list, and to celebrate the new store is handing out free fried chicken.
On Thursday August 8 and Friday August 9, staff will give away 250 boneless fried-chicken pieces at 12pm and again at 4.30pm. Be quick.
"GAMI" might mean beautiful taste in Korean, but it means f#$k in Greek…
