not a bad price but good luck playing any modern games on this.

    • I'm playing games on a 2200g and 570. It's perfectly competent - you've just gotta turn down some settings.

I'd advise spending more, but if you need to fit in a small budget and this fits the bill it's fine enough.

    • That's a bit harsh, most will run reasonably well depending on settings used

    • -1

No idea what you're talking about.

    • I run a Ryzen 3 2300x and Rx570 8gb vram and can do 1080p high settings fine on most games

      • You might want to actually check your framerate, and some reviews and benchmarks to see what is really going on. I have an i7 and RX580 and 1080p is not the greatest experience. I Crossfire and have to use medium settings at 1440p which when working gets me to 50-60fps(short boosts to 100+ don't help the experience). If you pick your game, sure it is doable such as with CS and other games that are older or don't require high resources. AAA or modern multiplayer and it is upgrade time.

  • i wish the $1,500 HP price error $500 intel i5 9 gen

  • +7

Very bold statement using the words "i3" and "Gaming PC" in the same sentence. :)

    • You could say it's not as good as other PCs they offer at the same price point. But a 9100f and 570 will do more then fine in games.

    • Its still quite literally better than a PS4 pro in every way and thats a 'gaming' console, right?
In 2 years time when next gen heats up sure this will fall ebhind, but if you are just playing current games and older ones i3s play pretty damn well (i mean its basically an i5 of 1.5 years ago)

    • I'm sure if it were 'Ryzen 3' nobody would bat an eyelid.

  • +3

Wow, they really cheaped out on the CPU given their usually $600 - $700 deals. Avoid.

    • +1

Yeah. For like $100 more you could’ve gotten a 1660 Ti and a 2600. Wouldn’t touch this with a long stick, plus $29 delivery it makes this deal DOA.

  • Jesus christ that website could not be more broken. Trying to view the items you can change and it just keeps skipping around, because of the weird frame they placed with the price at the top.

On a side note, how would this act as a PLEX server. Is this GPU good for transcoding?

  • Does Techfast still post their own deals or they give them directly to you to post?

    • Yes they do post thier own deals and time to time I request them if they can give some good discount to share

    • +3

      I game comfortably on a 2200g and 570. A 9100f and 570 will do just fine

    • +2

      RAM is 8 GB

      • -4

Opps 4GB is video, which is also a detriment.

    • +2

Why are you saying a 470 is OK at 720p? This rig contains a 570 which is slightly better but the 470 can pretty easily handle high to ultra settings at 1080p.

The i3 is also a quad core cpu that is better than most i5's from the 7th generation and below.

      • 470 was a typo, tho they are not that different.

        • +4

That is true. And so, that would mean the 570 is perfectly capable of gaming at 1080p on High for AAA games unlike your "may be OK at 720p" statement.

People buying these may have little knowledge of PC gaming so please stop spreading lies about performance of certain PCs and components to those who may not have been in the PC community long enough to know the performance for themselves.

          • -1

@ShrimpDuck: Please stop presenting delusional assertions. If you would have followed my comments that many people buying these PC's may have little knowledge of PC Gaming and shouldnt be treated poorly. Please stop spreading these lies that poor performance is how PC gaming is. Too often this crap goes on and leaves a bad taste in the mouth of these new users who then go on to find a better experience on consoles when the reality of appropriate hardware is completely different. People buying this system are not ppeople who can afford to buy a new PC evbery six months and value and longevity is extremely important. Note also that magically your assertion of a great system has been shown to have been overpriced by the seller.

Please supply these benchmarks that support your assertions.

              And my point is proven.

Regarding your second statement on how this was overpriced by the seller, I never said that it was fairly priced. The only comment I made was correcting your false statements about your ideas of the performance that the i3 9100F and RX570 would present for a 1080p gamer.

    • +1

Because it has a GPU? The CPU is irrelevant…. the GPU is more than capable of 1080p gaming…

Believe it or not, not everyone wants to spend $800 on a GPU alone? Most people new to PC gaming wouldn't give 2 shits if this system displays a game at 60fps compared to 130fps?

      • What titles and frame rates do you get with your RX570 4GB, and bottom end CPU. Which current multiplayer(or recent AAA) games do you get 80+ constant fps at 1080p with high graphic settings, with this setup?

        • +1

          I don't have a 570?

Why did you ask for an 80fps constant? 60 covers most monitors….

          Stop being an elitist.

This GPU gets more than playable rates and along with the 580 is widely considered unbeatable value.

If you don't like it move on, your negative is completely invalid, you couldn't even quote the same parts…

          • -1

@scuderiarmani: If you dont have a 4GB RX570 how do you know.
Hitting 60fps every now and then is not a great experience and especially not in multiplayer gaming.
Point is that reviews show the RX580 struggling, and this is not a good investment. The buyer is much better aiming for a better GPU and CPU and waiting to save a bit more cash if that is an issue. used 1070/1070ti's are going on ebay for $300-$380. We have already had 5700XT's for under $530 and the AIB cards are due in a week and will affect the pricing of all cards. Odds are we will also see further AMD cards sooner than some expect as well. Go with the cheaper i3 R3 level CPUs if cash is that tight, but it is a very bad idea not to stretch the purchase to a better GPU.

            • +2

@Major Mess: Oh geez maybe I watch reviews? Maybe I know that reguarly the 570 is chosen as the BEST VALUE. I don't need to own one to know about it.

I don't care what else you wrote, you seem to ignore this is a $600 system that will play EVERY game. Better than consoles too…

Anyway, you are a waste of time. You'd have some credibility if you didn't go off thinking it was 4gb Ram and a 470…

              • +2

                @scuderiarmani: They're a major mess lol

None of what they're saying has any value to this particular pc.

Who is going to purchase a $600 video card when they only have $600? Some people seem to struggle with the idea that not everyone spends money on computers like an enthusiast does.

    • I game on a 550ti :P

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Porv3FjTtIg

      i3 9100F with RX 570 video testing 26 games 1080p.

Doesn't look too bad at all to me, many games have settings at high, and fps varies on the game.

    • Your post is full of misinformation.

First, the i3 has FOUR CORES. That was the standard gaming CPU in 2016, and not much has changed since. Sure, you can see examples like Assassin Creed Odyssey where 6c/12t is faster than 4c/4t, but those benchmark use RTX 2080 Ti GPU which alone is 3 times the price of this PC. For RX570, this is perfectly fine.

4GB VRAM is plenty for what this PC is meant to be. You are not going to game at 4K Ultra settings with $599, majority of the time VRAM detriment only comes into play then.

There's a system for every budget and in fact RX470/570 and 480/580 were/still are AMD best selling cards. I built my PC for $2k back in 2016 (i7-6700k (stable 4.9GHz) + GTX 1080 + 2GB SSD + 16GB RAM + Noctua NH-D15S and 4 Noctua case fans) and I'm still waiting for next gen because this current gen (GPU) still don't justify $ for performance to me.

This is a pretty shit deal

  • i find techfast has much better value when ebay is subsidizing some of the cost

I3 and gaming is like saying Hyundai getz and race car

    • +1

Because people can only drive race cars? No one can enjoy driving unless they own an F1?

      • CPU and memory makes a big difference to frame rates.
