2,400 Bonus Flybuys Points with $60 Spend Sat 3/8 to Tue 6/8 @ Coles

112

Just got sent a Flybuys offer to spend $60 and receive 2,400 bonus points. Also have seen 2,000 points for $50 spend so will vary depending on the offer. Seems like the points will be equivalent to 20% of spend requirements so check your emails. Offer varies as per comments below

Similar to the 4 week bonus points offer but only one transaction required.

Starts tomorrow 03/08 through to Tuesday 06/08.

Standard T&Cs and purchase exclusions apply.

Got "collect 1,000 BONUS POINTS when you spend $50 at Coles!"

    Lucky you

    • I got that one too but expires today. Hopefully you will get a separate email with the above offer

  • 3,600 for $90 spend in the one I received

Nothing on my end 😭 I missed the $70 spend for 2000 points (down from the usual $90) because I'm in Tasmania and I can't top-up my Opal card here …

I'm in Hobart and get to Sydney a few times a year if you'd like me to top up for you. I don't understand though, was there an incentive to top up Opal for bonus points or something?

      • Thank you, but I'm a Sydneysider haha; I was visiting Tasmania for the first time :)

In Sydney, you can top up your Opal card at Coles and unlike Woolies (which also offers top-ups), you can earn flybuys points. The bonus offers like the ones offered in this thread can be used for Opal top-ups in order to meet the qualifying spend to get the bonus points. In my example above that I missed due to being interstate, I would need to top-up $80 on my Opal card (assuming I had enough space on my Opal card for an $80 top-up) to get the 2000 bonus points.

Hope that makes things clearer for you! :)

  • 2,000 for $70, as always

  • Got 2k for $50 spend offer here

completed my 10000 for 4*90 today.

  • What's the point of these posts?
They're targeted, so you need to receive the offer to be eligible, and everyone receives different offers based on their buying history.
So it's irrelevant to everyone else to post what you or I have been offered as its unrelated to what they may or may not get offered. eg my offer was 2000 points for $140 spend.

As the buyer has no control over these things, and doesn't get the choice of obtaining the posted "bargain," I don't see how these posts add any value to anyone.

Because it gives perspective, and people mention things that help others. ie kerfuffles response above is interesting to me. Also people can help with information, like having another flybuys account so the offers are triggered. I don't do that but some people enjoy chasing these tips.

1st point: to make others aware that an offer exists
2nd point: at the time of posting we don't exactly know whether the offer is consistent or varied (now we know it's the latter)

Your post doesn't really add anything we dont already know so aren't you contradicting yourself?

Mods can delete the post if they dont think its a bargain

"to make others aware that an offer exists"

OK, should I post 5 times a day to tell you about the specific targeted offers I'm receiving from companies that you won't receive? Would that be what OzB is for? Or is it for bargains that everyone can access?

@sheikyerbouti why are you replying to me when I can't change the rules of the site? Do you speak to another customer when you get a defective product from a shop? I sincerely hope you're not that silly

Completely agree with you. But I'd go even further to stop all targeted deals on ozbargain. Targeted deals come through almost only on emails, or a promo code that might be useful on ebay for an account that never gets used previously. Posting a deal for people who already get an email from it or these 1 in 10,000 ebay accounts that are eligible because they don't use their account, it's so stupid because everyone who is targeted would already know about these deals.

      • @Monstalova

Says the guy who has never ever posted a bargain… Lol

Sorry mate it's like taking all the Christmas presents and never giving any out.

      • I get hundreds of emails targeting me with offers and do not look at them. I rely on looking here to highlight the best ones.
