  • This is pretty much the standard price since 2017.

Could you get free international delivery in 2017 or 2018 for that matter?

      • Unsure about 2017 but I bought mine from here over a year ago.

        • -4

Yeah but you probably didn't even receive it over a year ago.

@TEER3X: Unlike you I received my order just fine. I now have a bunch of Lodge pans as well.

              @m9: Congrats?

Did you buy them so you can use them to bang your head a little and knock some sense into yourself?

              • @TEER3X: I think you're the one that's not making any sense here. If you want I can loan you mine.

Edit: Are you bitter because your pans got sent back?

                • -1

@m9: I got that from the first comment that you are stalking me, no need to make it that obvious where you need to put a link in. Creeper alert.

  • Any grills for non-sporting types?

    • Yeah, the one your mate has on the weekend.

      Charcoal isn't for the lazies.

I got confused with the "perfect for tailgating" description… and then I realised its American, referring to when they have car boot thingy's.

I kept imagining who'd throw one of these suckers out the back on a tailgater ;).

This is a great product but I just want to inform others of my warranty experience (or lack thereof).
I purchased this exact grill from this exact deal (Amazon AU via Amazon US) pretty much exactly a year ago (ha!).
Grill is amazing, fantastic, etc etc, but about two months ago I noticed a couple of hairline cracks in the grill bit. Remember, grill was only about 10-11 months old.
I contacted Amazon AU and they told me to contact Amazon US.
Contacted Amazon US and they said no way, we can't do a thing, can't even access the order because fulfilled by Amazon AU, etc.
Re-contacted Amazon AU. They still refused to help and then told me to contact Lodge directly.
Far out! So I contacted Lodge. They responded to initial request and asked for photos and more details. I sent back what they asked for and they never replied!!

I gave them three weeks to reply and when they didn't (they still haven't, as a matter of fact, and it's been five or six weeks now since my reply email), I contacted Amazon AU and basically said, "This is entirely up to you to do something now. USA will do nothing. Lodge won't even reply. You now must replace or repair or refund my product under warranty, Australian consumer law, blah blah blah."

Amazon AU finally got off their arses and said they had issued me a refund to my original payment method. I haven't received the refund yet on my card (god knows why it takes so long), but I have the email confirmation saying it'll happen.

So that was very long but I hope this may help someone. Just so you know, I love the grill so much that I will be using my refund to purchase this exact deal. So it is a great product. Just beware of the farkaround for any warranty claims.

  • Thanks for the feedback, moneymoo. I've been looking at this for a while so just ordered one. Hopefully, it will lasts…
