    It says it was out of stock at 6:30 but 5 minutes later they said they re-stocked but it was running low. So I grabbed the chance and took it to checkout while putting BLITZ1500. Then I went back to the site on new tab, and it said it ran out of stock … again, but my checkout, no matter how many times I reload it, it still is $500. So I'm 99% sure I've snatched it but I still have to pay. Should I, or should I not? It still says $500!!!

    Update: Still in basket. I think even if ran out of stock, as long as it is in basket, it's mine!!! I reload and reload and it's still $500! Is this legit? I'm thinking of calling HP before I do pay… Thoughts?

        Why? I put the OMEN into my basket at 6:35 when they had JUST re-stocked. 5 mins later, it was gone again. It still is, but since I put it in my basket before, my OMEN is in my cart and I'm on payment details. It looks good.

            @Freestyle: I'm just very cautious. I think I have the last HP OMEN. Also, you've had run-ins with Kogan. I find them my primary and reliable source of buying electrical stuff.

    argh, I have been constantly refreshing on the comments and when the moment I stop for awhile, all the restock comments are out and I am 7 minutes too late. :( congratz though to those who got to purchase.

    What I guess is happening is they are cancelling orders resulting in stock appearing in back in the store which is immediately repurchased by others.

          You have to authorise payments, companies cannot take money from your account if you do not authorise it. You could legally owe them money and they couldn't do it.
