    1) To the (mod: edited) who called HP to find out if the deal would be honoured: you're (mod: edited) and shall forever more be (mod: edited) . The only way that it is honoured, is if the item has already been packed and shipped. If it was a pricing error and you've now called them up to notify them, guess what? Yep, if the item hasn't been packed and shipped, you get nada, zilch, zero, nothing for your wasted phone call.

    2) To the bunch of sour grapes who missed out and keep saying there is 99% chance that it won't be honoured: you're a bunch of sour grapes and shall forever more be a bunch of sour grapes. Everyone knows the game; it's a slim chance, but errors happen and people have benefited from it in the past. Who the feck doesn't already know that it's a slim chance that it gets honoured? Tell me something we don't know like (mod: edited)

        I'm sure many are upset that they didn't take advantage of a pricing error. I'm not one of them as I managed to purchase within 15 minutes of deal being posted. If it gets honoured, it gets honoured, and if it doesn't, it doesn't. It's out of anyone's control, so why fret about it?

          It's still pretty decent. For laptop at that spec, even Metabox is selling at $2,500 plus.

          I got the HP 15-dc1051tx for $100 less. Hope they will honor it.
