The good thing about Speccys is that, if you're with one of these health funds, you can instantly claim on your private health insurance (instead of having to claim after the fact).

    From the Specsavers website -

    Health funds supported by Medipass:

AAMI Health Insurance, AHMAPIA Health Insurance, Defence Health, Emergency Services Health, Frank Health Insurance, GMHBA Limited, Health Care Insurance, health.com.au, HIF, Medibank Private Limited, NIB, Nurses & Midwives Health, Phoenix Health, Police Health, Qantas Assure, St. Lukes Health, Suncorp Health Insurance.

Depending on your Extras coverage, there may be no out-of-pocket at all.

    • Not sure if you qualify for cashback if you use medipass as your order total will be $0

      • +1

Yes still qualified. Medipass is just a method of payment, so your invoice still shows the total amount spent.

    Morning Tighty :).

  • Specsavers quoted me double from what I could get from other online stores. They were Biofinity XR Toric's. Make sure you shop around.

I find bupa online store may be cheaper if you are a bupa member.

    • didnt realise u can buy direct

4pack of acuvue oaysis 2 109 member price everyday pricing

94$ after $30 discount via sepcsavers

so still cheaper here but i have a huge supply so rahter pay $14 extra for the convenience

Bupa seems like they import direct from US/UK or they get shipped directly from the manufacturer as mine was (express posted)

The packaging was all English. The ones I get from specsavers have a few Asian languages on packaging

    As above, shop around.
Cheaper for me to order from ozcontacts compared to specsavers

    • Thanks always spec saver customer. Let me give them a try

    • Damn it – I should've read your comment first -_-

  • These deals are always useful as a reminder that I much change my contacts. I must have got four months out of my current set of fortnightlies.

    • Your vision is not worth the risk mrwoo!

    • I've been running dailies, around 2-3 pairs a week and was considering going for reusable ones.

  • They sell Dailies Total 1 in store but don't do online? Why? Can never use these deals ;(
