Optex OPK-1931: Deluxe Tripod & Bag Kit is on a clearance for $9.88 at Target. It is the same product as shown at these links (http://www.topbuy.com.au/tbcart/pc/Delux-Bag-and-Tripod-Star… and http://www.camerasdirect.com.au/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Pr…). There are around 3 - 4 left at Highpoint when the time I bought the item. You might be able to get from other stores.

It is very decent unit and durable (at least much better than my old one that I bought around 30bucks sometimes ago).

    So far a mate of mine confirmed that the Castle Hill store doesn't have it.

    Thanks buddy for posting this, bit of a drive but I picked up the last one at Camberwell this afternoon. Been looking around for one of these for a while and my partner is playing around with it as we speak. Terrific deal. For those in Melbourne looking, none at Knox, Chirnside Park, Eastland Ringwood or Forest Hill.

      Great that this deal is good for you also ;-) Too bad that you need to drive long distance but I think the quality of product can compensate that. I quite like the function that I can lift the stand part up by rotating the device near it (not so sure about specific name for that part), pretty neat.

    I rang each store and asked to speak to audio visual dept, then asked the person there if they had any of the 'Optex' Tripod & Bag Kit for digital camera left. As with most things some people were really helpful, others were vague and obviously couldn't be bother checking. I also rang the main target customer service number and she was able to tell me where stock was across Victoria, but there system is obvious one or two days behind cos when I went to the Knox (should have had over 2) they had no idea and didn't seem to have any. I don't think they are supposed to hold clearance lines but the guy at Camberwell was great and held it for me for one hour so I could get down there.
