So I was in Target Toowoomba thismorning looking for the chairs and the Rattan shed posted by fellow ozbargainers last night and as I was strolling past the red light spcial there were some single bed sheets and a whole stack of Kids room collection single and king single sheets reduced from 50 for reguar single and 60 for the kids kings single to the red sticker price of 5.86.
So from there I stroll down to the checkout a little dismayed that they dont have any Rattan sheds and happen to pick up a 9" digital frame for $24.88. Anyway after all that I hand the sheets to the target lady and she scans it in at 4.39.

I get home and the mrs asks me if I can change the kids sheets and ist it lucky what I have in the bag.

    You might want to wash them at least once before putting them on your kids bed.

    Most people don't know that fabrics often have brighteners, anti-mould treatments and anti-wrinkle chemicals on them left over from the manufacturing process to keep them looking good.

      Plus when some lovely customers start pulling sheets out of the packaging, they like shoving back in or throwing them on the shelves, and sometimes staff like folding the sheets on the floor… Not the cleanest things in the world

    Good find. It seems Target has heaps of cheap scan finds. I found a queen quilt cover set priced at $150 but were scanning for $23 came with 2 x euro pillow covers, 2 normal pillow covers and a quilt cover. I bought 2 sets. Also, found a double quilt set (twin pack) for $23. The original price was $80.

    It pays to scan everything.

    FYI the Queen Size "bed in a box" is marked at $129 but scans at $17.xx

      ang911 have you seen any Queen size "bed in a box" still left in the stores in SA? There were a couple of double ones at Castle Plaza left yesterday.

        I got one at Fulham Gardens last week, and there was one more left but not sure if it is still there. Could well be as the cheap price wasnt displayed…
