Not sure if this have been posted. Was trying to cancel my trial for eBay plus, within the cancellation flow around step 2, this offer pop up. “Keep my Benefits and Receive a $20 Gift Card” within the eBay Plus cancellation flow.
The $20 gift card will only be send upon payment of the ebay plus fees. If you click accept, you still have time to decide to cancel, but you wont get the gift card. This brings down the ebay plus fee to $29.
My renewal in two months.
Will they charge me now for another year?

The membership wasn't paid through PayPal? As long as PayPal do the transaction they aren't an overseas payment processor.

Been a week since my membership expired and hoping they’d send me an incentive to renew but nothing yet 🙁. Cancelled too early. Wonder if we’ll get a similar offer for Prime?
Can anyone help me? i forgot and my account was renewed in second week of july (i actually didn't wanted to ) and then in couple of days i found this post to get the $20 voucher and did exactly what i was supposed to but still didn't get the $20 voucher. How long does it take for someone like me to get the voucher and how do we receive it as a message in ebay account or as a email?

"For the avoidance of doubt, if you click “Keep my benefits and receive a $20 gift card” but do not continue to pay the eBay Plus annual fee, you will not be eligible to receive the eBay Digital Gift Card."
basically you'll get the voucher July next year after you've renewed. same boat me.

Tried to cancel but received this when I selected "Keep my benefits & receive a $20 gift card":
"Unfortunately, this promotional offer is by invitation only"
What the hell is that?

The problem was solved after one day. I think you just need a give it a little time.

Oh the hassles to cancel ebay plus, sneaky company, not telling me that my $29 membership will be jacked up to $49 and just taking out the money.
But after a long phone call, they cancelled it and refunding me, but no doesnt end there, i dont get refunded till the 15th of next month what nerve they have
