    Awesome laptop, I think its $999 at the US store, the GST and other import duties bring it up quite a bit.

    • wow. would have been only 1300 Australian dollars a few years ago then.

      • That would be an absolute killer price, no competition for any other laptops.

        • Except every other laptop would also scale proportionally in price making it just as appealing as it is now….

    • The exchange rate being only two thirds of the US dollar alone brings the price up in AU dollars.

      I don't mind prices being a lot lower in the US at this exchange rate, but it used to pxxx me off when the AU dollar was higher than US dollar and we still had to pay more than US customers (even for digital goods where transportation is not a factor).

  • At $999US with Exchange rate it should have been $1559inc GST?
