    cheaper wireless-n 4-port routers are available, eg http://www.tp-link.com/products/productDetails.asp?pmodel=TL… , $44 at msy

    • Is that also a modem?

    • You can not say that something is a bad deal because you can buy a different brand with different specifications for less.

The model you linked to does not even have an ADSL modem in and you have to go pick it up from the store.

    • Isn't that TP Link just a router?

The D-link is a modem too.

    • my apologies, i didn't see it was an adsl modem. still, it is an average price for a wireless-g 4-port modem.

    • This is just a Router, not Modem Router

      • Is it? I'm confused. It has an RJ-11 (phone line) plug on it, so you'd assume that means it has a modem?

  • tp-link w8950n 150Mbps wireless-n 4-port modem/router $48 seems a better deal.

    • plus 1

      Or a Billion 7700N for $61.

  • Yeah Wireless-G is a bit old these days. It works, sure but why bother when there are Wireless-N (much faster) options in the same ballpark. Just my thoughts.

    • +1

wouldn't buy a new G device when you can get N for a couple of dollars more.

  • OW selling this for $49 it seems

Too bad no free shipping, could always grab one in store if your nearby.

  • Email from DS cam today and it had $20 cash back when you pay with Paypal. So that would effectively make it $29.97?

  • Yep, orders over 200. Bummer.

  • oh i'm not sure which model this one is, it looks exactly the same one as my old one. Anyhow, just a heads up, this modem/router doesn't handle multiple Starcraft 2 connections very well. Works for about 5-15 mins then one person will be d/ced.

  • I didn't know Wireless G still worth this much since a lot of us jumped onto N these days….

  • This might be OK. Can't comment myself, but it's a cheap 802.11n & ADSL2 modem router.
