3 Pizzas, Garlic Bread, 1.25l Drink and Final Fantasy XIV Complete Edition (PC) $53.95 (Pickup) / $59.95 (Delivered) @ Domino's

990
239495741327

Obviously the deal is intended for people who are on the fence about FFXIV, you could either look at it at paying less than half price for the game with your pizza or having free pizza with your discounted game.
FFXIV is a Subscription-based MMO, currently doing well compared to its competitor (Mainly WoW).
As with any Subscription-based MMOs, I recommend trying out the Trial Version before diving head first into the game as redeeming the full game would also activate your 1 free month of subscription that comes with it.

Shadowbringers Pizza and Gaming Bundle includes 3 x Large Domino’s Premium, Traditional or Value Pizzas, 1 x Garlic Bread, 1 x 1.5L Drink and 1 x Redemption Code for the Game being FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Complete Edition PC game download.

Which pizza goes best with FFXIV?

    • +51

      BBQ Cho… Chicken.

    • +1

Before domino's had a chocobo, catctus, etc themed names for the pizzas with this deal.

  • +1

Did the sums… works out to be roughly $30 for the game

  • +2

As if they wouldn't go with the free game with any pallet purchase of cup noodles

  • +5

FFXIV is the subscription-based MMORPG like WOW right? Everyone tells me it's really good but I can't justify the monthly fee.

    • +1

The free trial caps you to Lv 35 with any jobs but you have unlimited playtime.

      • Really? Been a while since I took a look at it. Thanks

  • Surely this doesn't include the new expansion?

    • +7

Includes everything! A Realm Reborn (Starter/Base), Heavensward, Stormblood, and the latest Shadowbringers!

      • Definitely changes things for me! Thanks!

    • +1

Why yes, the complete edition comes with the base game, all previous expansion and the recently released 'Shadowbringers' expansion.

  • Very fun and easy to game to drop 100's of hours in. A lot of content too for single players.

    • Not just 100's of hours. I'd say very easy to drop in thousands of hours. They design MMOs to be as addictive as drugs. I even heard of cases where parents would forget to feed their babies and accidentally killed them.

Nothing against MMOs just beware what you may get yourself into. I previously played FFXI for around 4 years, dropped probably around 4-7hrs a day on it easily.

With these games, if you find great people to play with and socialize it makes it even more addictive.

  • Is this game any good?

Final Fantasy XIV Surpasses 16 Million Players Ahead of Shadowbringers Expansion

If you like JRPG and MMORPG (Many Men Online Role Playing as Girls) then this is it!

      • +7

I'm gonna have to steal that MMORPG definition for later use!!

      • -2

Not 16 million active though, probably even includes trial accounts.

      • +3

        … I'm not always a girl

        god damnit

        • +3

It's okay, seeing that sex is now a social construct you can be whichever sex you want to be, look I just went from Demigirl to Demiboy all the way to Trigender back to Male.

      • +3

If you're going to copy and paste your reply into multiple places, you could at least do the due diligence of playing through the game. Because this sounds someone who didn't play far enough to make a fair and informed judgement.

The story is regularly praised (admittedly some of the low-level stuff is bland) and by endgame you're weaving 1-2 skills in between every GCD while doing mechanics. There's a pretty good reason the WoW refugees are moving over in droves.

        • -1

The number of players for this is really low. The wow refugees won't like this because it's basically the same thing but clunkier.

  • +9

Nothing more attractive than a man who plays RPG's while eating garlic bread.

  • +4

Just take note that this code will not be compatible with steam users.

  • +2

Ah brings me back to the days when pizza hut had a similar deal for need for speed underground..

    • bro, that was more for the slow arse delivery drivers trained by the Doug. Show'em how to powerslide there arse over to your house so the pizza was still hot and fresh.

Cop: Son, do you know why I pulled you over?
Delivery Trainee: Cops? Fines? Pfft, 20mins or its free! Must, get there officer. Can't afford to lose this job! Can't afford to go to dominos, two hour shifts shudders
Cop: Well… practise practise (looks at game in drivers hand) and drive faster next time and I won't catch ya

    • +1

Also reminds me of when they used to give DVDs with pizzas… ah, a simpler time when I didn't have to do my own laundry or cook for myself. I miss those days.

  • The last time i got a videogame with my pizza was, 2006?
    Anyone got a time machine?

  • +2

The Battlefield 2 Pizza Hut deal was one of my first ever deals I got from OzBargain and one of the best.

I played BF2 for 5 years until things started to shut down.

    • +3

Ah yes, the rise of the 'pizza hut noobs', those were some dark times.

      • "Hey guys its a shame but no one is playing this game any more, it needs fresh blood if we want to continue."
"Hey wait a minute, there are new guys trying to join in on this fun, boo them I say, boo!"

        • +3

Sorry, are you saying "Boo" or "Boo-urns"?

    • Arr I think you are mistaken that deal was before ozbargain was even made….

  • +5

It's 'cuz of that &^#$# 'pizza', that people underneath are sufferin'!

    • +2

      This guy are sick.

    • +1

I just booted up my PC to say that you made my night because I'm too lazy to login via my phone.

  • I need dinner but not the game. Would it be easy to sell the game and would it be worth much?

    • Sell it on Classifieds.

    • I doubt you'll get much from it, given its a subscription game this is more like a trial.

    • I'll buy it from you? I was looking at getting into FFXIV and I'm vegan so I can't eat anything with this offer.

      • +1

It can all be made vegan, the garlic bread and drink already are and the standard pizza bases and tomato/bbq base sauce are, garlic bread base isn't. Then just order whatever veggies on the pizza and either have it with no cheese or $2.95 per pizza to get vegan cheese. If you start with a vegetarian pizza and swap a couple of toppings you get more than building from scratch.

        • That's cool to know, thank you. I won't be buying this though because dominos is pretty trash food.

      • Let me know if you're still interested. I couldn't use the code as my account is set to NA region

  • Would be tempted if it wasn't a monthly sub on top of the base game fee, thanks though op

  • +2

Is it possible to redeem the code on existing ff14 accounts?

    • It would be wasted if you only need the latest expansion. A single expansion is only USD 9.99 I recall

      • Not sure where you got 10USD from; shadowbringers is 40USD or 53AUD, and all previous expansions are no longer sold individually as they are included in the newest one.

        • From the Mogstation store when I bought the game last Saturday (converting my free trial to full service account).
          The options were:
          - Complete (Base -> Shadowbringers) USD 59.99
          - Base USD 19.99
          - Heavensward USD 9.99
          - Stormblood USD 9.99
          - Shadowbringers USD 19.99
          - Shadowbringers (+ all previous expansions except Base) USD 39.99

It's cheaper to get individual ones, you save 3 cents in total LOL but I bought the one on cdkeys.com

          • @brokenglish: Neat, thank you for the heads up. Could you point out where the option is to buy the individual expansion is? I do see an option to click buy on the Account Status section, but that leads me to the EU square enix store, with no option to purchase shadowbringers by itself.

            • @lafriel: From your screenshot, it looks like your account is already a standard/full service account.
It must still be free trial status account. I guess it’s for new players only who created an account using the free trial promo.
Instead of Standard, it should say Free Trial.

On Free Trial, you have unlimited playtime but all classes are capped at Lv 35 and a lot of other restrictions (No GC, no FC, no Tell, no Market, etc.). Literally playing solo.

I got my main class to 35 and wanted to continue, then on Mogstation, there was an option for me to convert to Full Service Account. Next it asked me to either buy the game then and there or redeem the code if bought somewhere else.
(then and there = not redirected to SE store, after selecting the game/expansions, it wanted my credit card details on Mogstation)

The story is actually longer though, before converting to Full, I wanted to use the recruitment code I found on reddit. Every guide told me to go to Mogstation and click Recruitment under Manage My Account but it didnt exist! Took me hours to realise I have to convert to Full first! (that’s the only option available)

After redeeming my code, my Mogstation looks like yours. And after logging in first time as Full, the launcher also changed, it downloaded a 77GB update for the full feature! Ruined my evening plan LOL

          • @brokenglish: I would also like to know where you are finding this page. I've only seen it listed for 60aud

          • -1

@brokenglish: Keep in mind, if you're unfortunate enough to have not done your research before putting significant time into the game; These promotions don't work for Steam copies of the game - And you cannot buy Shadowbringers by itself without paying the full $60 AUD

            • -1

@OrSomeSayKosm: I created a new free trial account just for you mate, for some reason it brought me to EU region which comes out even cheaper than NA region. How about you do your research. https://imgur.com/a/zq8Uljp

              • -1

@brokenglish: Sorry for the late reply, but it appears you've misunderstood what I'm saying. I'm saying that if you have /already purchased/ the base game via the Steam store, the codes you get from the above promotion and ones like it will not work through Steam to upgrade the account.

In addition, if you've purchased the /Steam/ version, you must buy upgrades via Steam; Which cost $60 AUD. There are various reddit threads on the topic if you're interested enough to find out why this is the case.

Nothing will beat the full version of Age of Empires CD-ROM inside a box of Nutri-Grain

    • +2

And their licensing allowed 1 disc to have 4 installations for LAN play. I remember many schools at the time had Age Of Empires as a school activity. Some even had inter-school battles.

  • It was a huge pain in the arse to redeem my code last time. I think it was cause I already had a square enix account and it just wouldn't play nice.

    Gave up in the end.

  • Bizarre collab but ok.

  • +1

Remember the last time I bought pizza + game, Battlefield 2. Had to upgrade my machine. Expensive meal. Totally worth it though.

  • Thx OP. Got one for the missus. Also PM me If anyone is interested to play I can give a recruit a friend code so we both get some nice perks :)

  • +1

I've been playing this game since it was released. It's the best Final Fantasy game ever for me. haha. Yes, it beats FF7, FF6, and FF8 which are my top 3.

This is great deal. All expansions are included and you get to enjoy a meal!

  • Comes with all expansion including the latest? Excellent. I have the game on ps4 but keen to make the jump to PC

  • Don't forget to enter these additional promo codes;

    Pick-up: 584083
    Delivery: 210836

They are competition codes for a CHANCE to win a PS4 Pro Shadowbringer's Edition, but you still need to buy a pizza, does OzB competitions have a require purchase before entering comp category?

    https://www.facebook.com/notes/unidays/au-dominos-gaming-bun…

    • “ Participants must have a verified UNiDAYS account during the competition period.”

  • Anyone from Melbourne buying this? I'd be willing to get the game off you for $30

  • You get the code via email if you order on Domino's website for delivery.

  • Just realised my account is NA region, the code will only work with EU accounts. at least the pizza was ok!

  • Can anyone confirm that the code does work on an existing EU region account?

    • +1

I just redeemed mine all good for EU/JP region.

  • -4

anyone picked this up that doesn't want/need the code? hit me up if you're wanting to offload.

  • Does anyone know if i can use the code given just to add the latest expansion?? I baught the deal last time when it was the previous expansion

    • It worked for me, I bought the game through the promo last time too. The only thing was that it didn't come with 30 days of game time, so I had to buy my own. I'm not sure why it doesn't add game time for existing accounts but I emailed square enix about it and they added another 15 days of game time onto my account for me.

  • Willing to buy the game for $30 if someone isn't needing it

    • sent you a message

  • Like a few people have mentioned, I'd be willing to buy the game off someone for 30 dollars.

    • you don't currently allow PMs. you can enable this in settings > messaging, check tick box

  • i've ended up with a code I don't need, if anyone was still chasing one dm me! :)
