Yes i have found many retailers selling the ryzen 5 2600 for $199 now…
The 8 core 2700 is pretty nice for $300ish too.
the New 3600 has 6 core but easily 33% faster than 2700 for similar price
$175.20 Delivered @ Futu eBay using "POLAR20" for eBay Plus members, or + $12.95 Delivery otherwise.
Damn i never saw this. People are way better at this then i am lol.
at least you are trying to share what you thought was a good deal, better than most people :)
Haha thanks
As someone who doesn't game very much this is really tempting… Though I really wanted to upgrade to an 8 core, the difference in price is just insane… I'll be upgrading from an almost 8yr old 8320 so it would be a massive upgrade anyways. I really just can't make up my mind :(
I am after two of these. Unfortunately they're out of stock now.
Damn..i missed too, already on my cart, hmm probs just buy from my local msy, will have some games reward from AMD
Back in stock at Futu online for $175.20 right now. Limited quantity available
Any advice for good motherboard with this cpu?
just get a B450 - then you can flash it when you upgrade to the latest gen.
Depends what you're after, most motherboards these days are pretty good from the big manufacturers (Gigabyte, Asus, MSI, ASRock)
Though there are many different use cases and budget it's hard to really recommend one board over another without knowing it all.
A Cheaper Motherboard that covers most consumer needs go for the B450 series.
Cheers

This one good enough for light gaming and streaming?
If it was me I would personally recommended one with 4 memory slots, Fill 2 with your 8 or 16 GB and then later on if you want to upgrade you can just add to it.
Just note, that is a mATX board (smaller than a standard ATX). If you have a standard mid-tower case, you're generally better off going with a standard ATX sized board (generally has more ports etc).
Similar but better specced I'd buy this one:
MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC AM4 ATX Motherboard
Get it from the same seller:

That one has no optical audio out if that's important to you. Could be a factor when it comes to choosing your gaming speakers.
I just bought this, amazing MB for the price.

Thanks everyone for the reply…
At least you can play Destiny 2 with this one
With all the parts(CPU,RAM,MB,PSU…), it's cheaper to play in PS4…
i am happy to switch to ps4 when it supports mouse and keyboard for fps…
Good find. Looking around I see that other places (PLE/MSY) have dropped the price to $199, too.
Also $199 at Amazon AU - with free Prime shipping and a few bucks back from cashrewards.
Good price for an excellent CPU.
The 2200G and 2400G (with integrated Vega 11 graphics) are cheap too, if someone is looking for super low budget build.
Same price at PC Case Gear

But cheaper at Futu
Eh, think Shopping Express had this price for a while now.
