Yes but the OP has listed a 25th Anniversary edition which also includes a digital copy.

Why not just rip your own copy? Assuming you have a blu-ray drive.

I would like to have 25th aniversary written on the front of my copy even though it makes me feel incredibly old, however I have no interest whatsover in digital copies. Often on US disks they are unavailable unless you have a US itunes account. Personally I think they are more trouble than the're worth DRMd up the wazoo, terrible quality and I have recently discovered that some have an expiry date on them if you don't redeem them quick enough poof there gone, I resent that releases that include a digital copy are more expensive even though I have no plans to redeem the copy.

or BT it, which won't require the bluray reader or the native bd format unless of course this has any BD live features

And I totally agree with the guy above me
WTF should we pay more for the digital copy when we have already paid for the physical disk. Most people with even a little bit of knowhow with computers would just rip it from the disks anyways.

Or if you really want to be portable then download the mkv rips.

It'd take forever to torrent, trust me. (35GB)

      • it's amazing how the film companies come up with ways to sell the same sh*t over and over again ..

Decision time. The cheaper one from WOW with the cooler looking limited edition 3D Lenticular Cover or the 25th Anniversary cover + ditial copy. Guess this deal will suit people who like to easily copy there movies to portable media players.

Considering both editions contain all the same content and extras.

Buy from WOW, get a spesh hologram cover and keep the moola in Australia.

Wait six months and watch it on tv. Again.

    New Ozbargain rule:

No DVD/Bluray/Game deals, because it's cheaper to BT!

    • Is there a joke I'm missing?

Is there a downside to buying from Wow?

You can just rip the copy from Wow very easily?

      • I was joking, as a poster has now said:
"Are you guys that cheap that you wont spend $7 a movie for legal, high def, pressed discs?"

And for the record, I bought my set at JB's for $32 back in the day and would have gladly paid more.

    • Eh, I think we've just seen this blu-ray around this price enough times for it to no longer be exciting at all.

  • yeahhhzzzzzzz

Cheap, I bought it, and at this price/quality its a bargin. Last time I checked downloading copyrighted material was illegal and you wont get blu ray quality from recodes regardless.

Are you guys that cheap that you wont spend $7 a movie for legal, high def, pressed discs?

  • Is WOW currently the cheapest place to buy this? And how do you know if it comes with that 3d lenticular cover mentioned above because on the WOW website i dont see any mention of the cover.

    • +1

Yes, $19.95 including postage and it does have the 3D cover, i bought from WOW, its also region free.
