      Did it used to have any annual fee? I mean the min. income + spend req is also low on this so most people could find this one useful. Especially useful for youngins who want to establish some sort of credit history.

      Also + Access to Amex deals?

        Yes, bonus points are offered from time to time. We ran a 10k offer on this card between mid Feb and mid March this year.

  some of the little details..

  1. Australia and earn a minimum income of $35,000 per annum to apply
  2. Please allow 8-10 weeks after you have met the spend criteria for the 10,000 Qantas Points to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account
  3. You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program to earn and redeem Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply.
  4. Balances may not be transferred from another Credit Card issued by American Express Australia Limited.
  5. The promotional balance transfer rate will be eligible for 12 months from the date the Card is approved
  6. Interest free days do not apply to Balance Transfer balances, and you may be charged interest on other purchases and fees if you do not pay your Closing Balance (including any outstanding balance transfers), in full by the due date each month

    Yes, bank branded Amex cards don't prevent bonus point earn on Amex Credit card deals where you are dealing directly with Amex.

  I have this card along with 12 supplementaries for my family lol. Good for the annual $20 promos. I think my Opal balance is $6586554!! Fingers crossed transport nsw is still around in 10 years.
