    delivery: $199…. wtf?

  • Delivery fee is a joke but even then, price is incredible.

  • +1

Can click and collect from store. Warehouse will get it delivered to your local store.

  • The B8s are superseded and store stock seems to be diminishing, so get in quick!

  • No stock in Sydney

    • None in SA, which sucks cause the $199 delivery is way too much

  • +3

    resist …use the force

  • +1

Hey, there’s one at the Warwick store in Queensland. Good excuse for a trip/excursion to the NSW Northern Tablelands and the QLD Granite Belt regions.

    • +2

      This deal is for a 65, not a 55.

    • +1

SIXTY FIVE INCH dudee.. Good morning.. Wake uppp :p

    • Have a coffee.

    • +1

Sweet, I'll just sit a bit closer so that 55 inch looks like the 65 inch in this deal!

    • This is for a 65" coffee.

        • +19

          Whos says im wearing pants…

  • Wow … very tempting considering I've been looking at the 55".

What are the odds that orders get cancelled? Can obtain another 5% off via work but gift cards purchased a non refundable…

  • +7

To those who paid this price for 55 inch.. Let's make today as a National OLED mourning day =( and mourn with me..

    • I've currently got the 55 inch on order, do you recommend it?

      • +1

yeah definitely recommend OLED.. pricing should be around $1500-1600 for 55", cheaper for Hisense
one I bought was FZ950 Panasonic

        • Panasonic OLED panel is superior anyway

          • @liquid metal: true but I dislike the O/S and the menu,..can't even easily do voice control. even my miBox can do that easily and only cost $40-60! =(
The internet browser is also not good.
Other than that pictures are brilliant.

    • +1

      Edit: Mourning Day Cancelled

    • Move your couch 15% closer to your tv 😎

  • +3

Resistance is futile! I didn't need a new TV..

    • +2

hahahaha …i used a higher force credit card statement

  • +1

Really nice to see OLEDs becoming more affordable, my plan is to get one sometime next year hopefully a 65inch is $1400 by then

    • +7

      Good luck with that

      • Considering these were 2900 sticker price at most retailers for the last year I don't see why it's such a stretch.

Maybe he means June 2020 which is not implausible at all.

        • -1

I bought my B6 2 years ago for under $2000 so prices have not changed much, why would they there is no competition

  • Pricing Error - Website has been corrected. Limited to no stock anyway.

  • Nice find I just went to buy but boom it's a pricing error. Oh well good luck if anyone gets one

  • Damn.. no stock combined with pricing error!! Was hoping to get my hands on one of these bad boys at that size!!

  • +8

I placed an order for $1987 and received an email saying "We have decided not to accept your offer" Harvey Norman is a such a bad company this has happened on multiple occasions before. Very bad reputation, Do not give these people business !

    • Your offer? lol

      • +1

I did not offer, I made a purchase off the official price of $1987

        • +1

Yeah I know, what a bs reply.

          • @moneyhungry: It was likely indeed an offer.

            Google “invitation to treat”.

    • -4

We know their reputation (as you did), we see their incredible price (as you did), we make an order (as you did) and we acknowledge we are supporting their bad reputation (as you did). Pot, black.

      • Did your order go through at the $1987 price?

      • +2

It's just Harvey shit-stirring OzBargain and having a laugh!

  • Anyone get a screenshot of the price?

  • -4

Thanks OP! Bought 3! One for the lounge room, one for my study and one for the kids rumpus room.

    • Did they accept your purchase?

    • +2

This is why the rest of us can't have nice things.

    • Did they cancel the order?

    • Relax guys, just internet BS, he didn't buy any. Jus be trollin.

  • +1

Ah seems someone typed 1 instead of 2 :/

  • Guys could you pls upload the receipt.

  • Still shows $1987 on main page if you need a screenshot for price protection - got to figure out how to attach a file

    edit: maybe this will do:
    https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/179593/70492/hn_lg_65_…

  • The LG 65 B8 has just been taken off their website. Did anyone manage to get an order approved at the $1987 price?

  • Good luck to those that bought, may the pricing error gods smile down on you…

  • Ordered one this morning. Was feeling awesome on Monday morning, which usually never happens. Now feeling $@&$ after reading all these comments. Expecting a cancellation email soon.

  • Now there is a screen shop of the price
Should be easy to get a price match buy showing screen shot of price

    • Not in my experience unfortunately. stores normally check on their own computer/ipad by going directly to the site

  • +1

Got a call from the pickup store; they don't have stock and are working with LG to get stock which takes around 10 days.

    • So they're honouring your order? That's great news

    • Same. Said they don't have any stock in VIC and are waiting for stock from LG. Can't provide an ETA right now. I think they will cancel after a few days.

      • -1

They are just trying to get away from the pricing mistake they made, very very lame. Amazon USA always honoured pricing mistakes even at ridiculous levels, because Jeff Bezos has put his clients on the very top since day 1.

Harvey Norman are just pathetic in proper handling of their clients and taking care of their brand…

        • +1

I haven't had any success with Amazon US…

My 10TB WD drives and Howard Miller furniture all have been cancelled…

          • @Pielo: Has them honour a deal for a couple of 256gb microsd card for $40 when they were selling for about $150. Since that good experience I have spend a couple thousand in their store buying other stuff. They might have lost on the first deal but they made a long term customer out of me!

        • Not much you or me can do though. You can't expect them to sell items at a loss due to issues like this.

        • I always thought Amazon operated at a loss

    • I would be surprised if lg had more stock. Its a run out model

  • +2

Now they are referring to us ozbargainers

  • These many likes.. but it seems only the OP, BaronX and myself bought this. Did anyone else buy the TV this morning?

    Anybody managed to price match?

    • I did but got an email few hours later that the order was not accepted.

  • +1

Just got back from 2hr round trip to pick ours up. What a great deal, thanks for sharing! This might well be the best ozbargain deal I've had to date…

I did initially get a "Your order has been delayed" email about 20mins after placing it, but then another hour later received the "Your order is ready for pickup" email. The guys in the store and in the warehouse never even mentioned the price, just commented on how great the TV it is.

    • Lucky. There was no stock at any stores within 200km of me. Ordered pick up. Hope they have enough stock in Aus for those that ordered.

    • wow well done

    • +4

For those wanting to attempt price match here is a scan of the receipt I received with the TV (I've no idea whether this will be what you need or if it's acceptable as tax invoice?)…

      https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/196232/70503/20190701_…

      • Don't these have to be in-stock at Harvey Norman if people are hoping for a price match ?

  • @mkd, could you pls share your receipt. Either upload or share it in the mail [email protected]

    • Hi Krish395, I don't have a receipt. All I have is an order number and not the TV.

    • +1

I wouldn't share your email so publicly

  • +1

Anyone able to share their receipt?

  • Wow what a price people should be all over this compared to LCD at this price point

  • Anyone able to pickup one?

  • Good guys says no to price match as it should be in stock. Harvey Norman says stock can be ordered but at 2995 :(

  • +1

just buy it at another retailer with a price protection credit card. submit a claim using those Sc provided. do it on the same day.
